Thai Passport Office Moved

For those foreigners with a Thai spouse/gf who needs to renew or get a new Thai passport, please be aware that as of July 8th the Thai Passport Office has shut down in the government complex near Tung Sri Muang and has moved to the 3rd floor of Central Plaza. If you enter the main front entrance to the mall, you would go to the far left corner of the complex.

Great, the PP office workers must be elated over the later opening hours.

Maybe opening later and closing later is a better fit for people with 9-5 Mon-Fri jobs that have issues getting time off work. I have 3 passport renewals to do and it would be great to do them after school hours. If nobody knows their hours off-hand or if it's in a FB page, I may drop by and check tomorrow.

If coming through the main entrance, it's third floor, left side, same end. Mon Fri 10:00 - 17:00 with last applications taken at 16:30.

fast they ain't, took two hours to get it done, long wait after form filling, group of 10 called in by number.
1040B (i guess 40 for EMS)
passport by mail 48h later.
still only valid for 5 years.
