I had thought that starting back next Monday was a definite, but having just 'phoned Udon Christian School, it's "not certain". I know good communication isn't the Thai's greatest skill at the best of times, but Covid can obviously be used as part-excuse here. The car will, maybe, remain parked!

Next they are going to require 4 year old kids to be tested for Covid weekly. Would not surprise me in the least.

Mrs tam is hoping and praying that by the time they decide to reopen the schools, that I will be home to do the school runs.

Being tested positive for covid and dying from covid need to be taken in the context as to which age groups and which people are most likely to die.Cetaimly not children.
Old , sick and clinically obese are the danger groups

I hope she has this correct, but my wife tells me that the planned reopening at UCS has been pushed back 2 weeks until 15 November, when the Covid situation will again be checked. Online teaching to recommence from 1st November.

My daughters teacher seems to be taking a stand. She is doing extra small group classes with Mrs Statts taking little un for 2 - 3 hrs a day due to so many not getting on with "on line" work
It also gives me some space at home for a frw hours :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy:

We were asked if daughter wanted to stay with on-line teaching or go to normal classes last week. Daughter said go school, phone call tonight that we have to be at Nong Han at 7.30am tomorrow for her first inoculation, not looking too happy tonight. But it seems that the 15th Nov is the target date.

Yes, it seems that if the school meets the sanitory requirements, Mathayom students that are fully vaccinated will be able to attend school next Monday, most of that age group however, will not get the second jab until the 15 th. November, my daughter included. So yes after the 15 th.
For Prathom students ??? If the same rules are being applied, double jab, don' t know.? January ??? Watch this space.......
