I remember years ago a Vietnamese traffic cop being taken for a wild ride by a tour bus driver while clinging to the windshield wipers. The bus had been pulled over (full of tourists) but the driver refused to get out as requested and started to move away. The cop stood in front, the driver inched right up to him and kept moving. To avoid being knocked on his back and run over, the cop grabbed the wipers and jumped his feet into the low front air vent. The driver then went berserk and accelerated away and drove for several kilometers with the cop clinging on the front of the bus for dear life. The bus was eventually stopped at a full road block and the driver was arrested. I doubt a gift basket of Brand's Essence of Chicken would have saved his arse.
