Going batty

Post by Baht Man » February 15, 2023, 1:28 pm

Whilst trying to get some sleep last night I heard some strange noises in the BR. Weren't rats and their little patter patter,
nor a big gecko with their specific sounds. I just kept hearing like a light tapping noise through the rooms walls and ceilings. Sat up (no lights on) to try and sense the location, but it was everywhere.
Laid back down and felt something fall near my back, like a piece of cloth.
Switched on the night light, Lo and behold a friggin' bat was laying next to me.
Touched it lightly, and poof, off it went, never to be seen again.
We looked everywhere, nothing.
Don't know if I want it to come back tonight. so I can catch it, or not.
No dream and only 1 Leo.
Never seen them around the place before.
Any useful comments?

Thought they had active radar to avoid such things.

The more hair I loose, the more head I get.

Reckon it was a lady bat in lurve
I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

Could be linked to BRD's ant genocide. Borax makes you batty.

Another creepy crawly unwanted renegade wildlife visitor..

Bizz colleague in Bkk called me this morning and said it was torrential rain in the capital his garden was flooded and a lizard came up out the drains and wondered through his kitchen and out into his carport just as he was brewing up n making a bacon butty in his pyjamas , i didnt think much of it until he sent the pic... suffice to say he pooped his pants .. as it was rather a large thing.

I cry like a baby if I get a cockroach in the house, wouldn't be able to sleep at night with some of those creatures you get in the outback of udon! [-o<
