A retired mason would be an especially valuable person to help supervise/teach enthusiastic young volunteers. I think Habitat may be on site Monday, Christmas Eve, and Wednesday Boxing Day (and the rest of Christmas week). They want to lay the first 10 courses and pour reinforced concrete sills before the volunteers arrive. The volunteers will be on site for only 5 days. I believe good supervision is critical to build a beautiful house. The earth blocks are beautiful and well laid blocks make a very handsome house.
