Thai lady need passport for Cambodia?

As you all know Thai dont need passport to stay in Laos for 2-3 days, only border pass. Does anyone know if the same applies to Cambodia?

If Thai lady needs a passport what would the cost and procedure be? She lives in Buriram.

Has anyone gone to Angkor, Cambodia going over-land route to Cambodia from Surin province in NE-Thailand at the Chong Chom International Checkpoint?
