Cheap apartment for rent near UD Town

Hi, I have an apartment for rent that's within walking distance of UD Town on the bus no.7 route, it takes me about 7 minutes. We charge 3,500 baht per month with 3,500 baht deposit, you pay your own metered water and electricity. The rooms have air con are fully furnished and have a fridge. Sorry forgot to put on the post that we only charge 8 baht per unit for electricity and 20 baht per unit for water.

Not disapproving, just I think folks ought to know the reality of landlords setting their own rates for electricity.

Why does anyone object to paying over 2 times the PEA rate for electricity? Perhaps they have a brain and can still use it.

Just to be clear.. :D
The electricity company have 3 rates for consumers

The domestic rate is I think about 4.5 baht per unit.
3 phase supply- for small commercial use - which is 6.x baht per unit.
Large scale commercial usage - which is about 12 baht per unit...

The "reality" is that we aren't making huge fortunes on the electricity like the chap above is inferring. People who live in these apartments are quite frugal and they don't use tons of either water or electricity and when we get our bill it's usually pretty close to what we are charging, I guess the lighting at night time, cctv and alarm systems take up most of any profit that might be made. Also we've done our homework and we're at the bottom end of what private landlords charge.

We have an apartment available for rent, the apartments offer decent, well equipped accommodation within walking distance of UD Town, you can see the orange UD sign from the end of our Soi. We can do long or short term lets, take a look at www.changnorooms.com for more pics and info.
