I am reluctantly selling my beautiful LHD 1979 Mercedes-Benz 280e. This is a famous w123 Series, built when Mercedes was a byword for quality and reliability.
This car was originally brought from Germany to Thailand by a German diplomat who couldn't bear to be away from his beloved Mercedes. Ever since, it has been meticulously cared for and is in fantastic condition.
With only 180,000kms on the clock this car drives beautifully and will run and run for years to come.

could you tell something about the technical data and built in options as for this year built the standard was "quite low" and a lot of options only available at additional cost, e.g aircon, open roof etc.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm afraid I don't have the original sales sheet so cannot compare everything to the standard list of equipment. As you probably know it's a fuel-injected 2.8L straight 6 engine delivering about 180bhp. Very smooth and lovely to drive
Options include air-conditioning, power steering, leather upholster (the interior was recently renovated,) headlamp wipers (as it is a euro-import,) central-locking.
