might want to think that one a bit more..........personally, I'd tile. didn't on the driveway and carport, and regret it, though it will be redone, soon, tiled and actually enclosed.

My drive i sandwashed like what you get round swimming pools, yes over time it gets dirty but buy a power washer and it cleans up like new once a year is enough, tiles, crack, fade, chip, grout comes out ends up looking like nonsense, sandwash was 500baht/m2

That was a good idea! Where did you buy the sandwash?
We may have all come on different ships, but we're in the same boat now

sandwash 500 baht is the falang price , i have payed 350 baht /normal price for excellent work around the swim and some walls and pilars , perfect work by a good family team....

So do you pour concrete and add the aggregate or do you buy it in slabs?

Just painted my garage and car port floor.
Used a roof paint from Homepro (crocodile brand) grey colour, 700B/tin
Just brush off the dust and muck, water down the first coat as a primer and then paint. Used a roller and a brush round the edges.
Looks great and covered all the marks and scratches.

Hi Gary very interested that you didn't seal the floors before prime coat-can you tell me how long it's been since you painted it & has it deteriorated any since being driven on & weathergarym1959 wrote:Just painted my garage and car port floor.

vidmaster,
Only used it inside the garage and store room so haven't driven on it apart from motorbike, it's kept the damp from rising through the concrete which was the idea. Only been down about 6 weeks so time will tell.
As a cheap option I would suggest you try it before before shelling out for tiles/peagravel.
