Hello all
I have just started digging out for a small koi pond of about 5-6000 litres. I have been checking out on google, you tube etc for information on building a pond and also keeping koi which seems to be not as easy as I thought so I am asking for information on filter/pump set ups and also if there is any place in Udon that stocks equipment for ponds?
Any advice would be handy

"Nothing" .....
I wonder if that could be due to the fact that if you type the words "Koi" and "Pond" into the search box you get 71 replys ..... perhaps most (like me) assumed the answers you required would probably be somewhere amongst that lot.
What was by far the best aquatic outlet in Udon was just before the railway crossing as you go from Udon towards the Big C flyover, but I have a nagging thought that someone posted that they had moved or closed (perhaps someone could confirm please?)
There is a place near the Karin Hotel that sells fish and fish products, but it is no where near as extensive as a proper aquatic outlet.
Best option by far is to visit the weekend market next time you are in BKK as there are loads of shops there where you can buy most marine/freshwater/koi products (including 100 koi fry in a plastic bag for about B200 if you want to start them young)

It was called "Ocean Fish", I believe it still is.

Thanks for the info. I found Ocean Fish Shop today next door to Cellini on Sri Chomchuen Road as Pomps stated. Well stocked shop with fish and equipment for ponds and aquariums. I found everything I needed for my pond.
We may have all come on different ships, but we're in the same boat now
