Suggest that you look here:
https://www.advice.co.th/pricelist/notebook
and here:
http://www.jib.co.th/web/index.php/pric ... iceList/53

Both have a number of outlets scattered around Udon.

But it is really dependent on what you want to do with it & how much you want to spend.

At the moment I, personally, would not look at anything that didn't have one of the Intel 'i' series chip in it. i3 is (by far) the cheapest, then i5 & finally i7. But if all you want to do is surf the Internet then the i3 is man enough for the job.
It is well worthwhile buying extra RAM though. It is cheap enough these days &, again personally, I really wouldn't consider having less than 8GB of memory in a pc these days, Few will come with more than 4GB unless it has a high spec as well. It is a 5 minute job to install..

If you go to the Advice shop on Watthananuwong Road, you can ask them to install the extra RAM, if that is what you want.

They may or may not charge but is unlikely to be much if they do.

Some English is spoken, enough to talk about computers for sure as the terms used are universal, but beyond that it might be a struggle

I've had 4 DELL laptops from my last employers and all have been great units.
Have had any repairs like new keyboard etc. from the yellow Battery place in landmark.

DELL laptops are sold in Landmark.

Bought a DELL in Vietnam for my young bloke who is in school in HCMC and he is rapt. Can do anything he needs, even sneaking in games etc when I told him it was not for games, just school work. Yeah right.

JIB Computer in Central Plaza , can purchase and install RAM while you wait

Just remember to shut your notebook off, not just allow it to Hibernate / Sleep mode as notebook requires a complete new start / reboot to recognize the upgraded RAM.

Nobody who is remotely competent would ever fit RAM to a computer that was not powered down.

Have you ever turned the key to start your car when it's already running?
