Sadly there is no moderation check on the free adverts section. Also only the web master can delete them, rather than we Mods who do that too many times a day with "new posters" on the Forum.
Personally I think they (spammers in general) are low life scum who I would be happy to mass mail with identical crap. Sadly most of the 'sources' of this crap are stupid sops who have allowed here pcs to be high jacked by the real spammers.

I feel the same too. I have to delete spam from my mail box, forum and the classifieds on a daily basis. Any opportunity the spammers get they will post their rubbish. If I were to add the minutes up I wouldn't be surprised if I waste several weeks of my life deleting this crap.

Just a suggestion. If new classified postings weren't highlighted at the top, not only would spammers be less aware of there availability, but we wouldn't feel the need to click on them unless we were actually looking or selling something.

I don't think that would help too much TB.
Most spammers, well professional ones anyway, would use a piece of software that is able to post onto 1000's of different forums at the same time (i.e. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XRumer). To do one at a time manually would be an extremely tedious task, especially for the benefits they gain fro it.
