The banner thing........

Statto wrote -"Dont see any mention on the Palace bañner about their own co owner David Blitzer for the $20B his company received from the very same P i f fund that own Newcastle =;
Stones & Greenhouses spring to mind"

Brian Davis wrote - "The banner has become quite a talking point on the Palace fans' forum,with references to what has and is happening at other Clubs too. I've no idea of the accuracy of your statement, but with the addition of 'someone's mentioned this'. I've copied it to the forum and expect a reaction."

One reply on the Palace forum - "It is not accurate at all from my understanding, statements have been made regarding this, it is a hedge fund and Blitzer has no say in who invests, apparently. Another Newcastle fan tried similar with Textor, Textir completed s*** him down, politely, so much so the Newcastle fan has deleted his account"

jack queried whether the Saudi connection should concern the Newcastle supporters. What's happening there statts? Are some members getting Bolshie? Perhaps some are even resigning? This is a ghastly development.

Nobody's squirming at the FA yet. Nothing to see here, move along now.

FA now stopped sweating as takeover gone through without having to "go Public" with the reasons it hadn't before, coz that may well have been "a little bit awkward" :-"
BTW I'm a bit confused as to why the FA insisted on the separation of PIF from Saudis when their own regulations (owners test?) do not require it to be :-k I suspect they realised that it was only a matter of time before they were forced by law, (Arbitration/CAT) to agree it and used the "letter agreeing separation" as a way to make it look like they had got something different when they had to grovel back to Spurs/Man Utd/Everton owners :lol:

And this weekends fixtures:-

can Chelski hit 7 again? will Havertz actually score some "fantasy points"?

Will Spurs find the Man U back line as porous as Liverpool did?

Can Wolves do a Watford?

Will the Leeds "no show" forward line show up against the Norwich " no show" defence?
