Chilcot report

Post by socksy » July 8, 2016, 11:50 am

I'm surprised there has not been a Thread started on the findings of the report, released in the last couple of days. Maybe because it has revealed a lack of intelligence and B & B sending many service personnel of their respective countries to their deaths, as well as misleading the public of those countries. How the decision was made by other country's leaders who lost personnel I do not know. :^o [-X

What 'Bliar' the smiling assassin said to Bush.

I'm not , everyone with any intelligence knew it was going to do what it did, show Blair to be a liar and the loss of many friends and service people an unmitigated disaster.
The shame is he will get away scot free and he wanted to help at Brexit talks, I would not ask him to help install a toilet, although he supremely qualified to deal with S***!!!

Or may be it's because any UM member who is reading the report wont be finished until about Christmas

Could have paid for, and maintained several thousand immigrants on the money that rubbish cost to make and print

All the "experts" saying we have to learn and not make the same mistakes again ...... HELLO .....after Brexit we can't make the same mistakes again as we can't afford to go to war with anyone now. Might as well disband the Army/Navy/AF and use the money to fund soup kitchens around the country :-k

Weapon's of mass destruction. It was discovered early in the invasion that there none so the outcome of the enquiry was really known all those years ago and would have been a formality. Yes, agreed Statto - total waste of money

I am no fan of Blair, but I think its true to say that in the years after 9/11 there was quite a gung-ho attitude to war amongst all parties in the UK parliament. Blair was pushing at an open door. I don't recall hearing many Tories urging caution.

Both Bush and Blair should be charged with war crimes.
