A great tune, that brings back memories of the school youth club along with Golden Earring - Radar love and perhaps one of the greatest tracks / bands of all time.

Led Zepplin - Stairway to heaven https://youtu.be/IS6n2Hx9Ykk

Being a teenager in the 50''s and having lived a reasonably colorful life I often reflect on it. Selecting one song is tough so bear with me.
I loved them all by TJ Shepard
I remember you by Elvis or Slim Whitman
Heartlight by Neil Diamond

I’d never heard of T G Sheppard and my guess is a lot of others haven’t either so here’s a track.

T G Sheppard - Only one you https://youtu.be/Zdh6vrm_ySw

Neil Diamond - Heartlight https://youtu.be/BBDj4Rlyr28

Elvis - I’ll remember you https://youtu.be/XT21hE4Emvk

And my personal Elvis track - in the Ghetto https://youtu.be/2Ox1Tore9nw

you’d still be hard pushed to find bands as good as Sweet !
:-s Vince, that has to be one of the most contentious posts ever on Udon Map ! =; Its possible you would be more highly thought of if you announced that you had recently been converted to Radical Islam ! :D

I'd be hard pressed to find my favourite song ever,as there are so many, but when our little grand daughter has her afternoon sleep I sometimes borrow her I-pad and listen to songs from when I was a fresh faced little boy to the broken old man you see now shuffling around the 50% off area in Tesco Lotus Extra ! :-$

Heres some of the songs......guys might remember some of them and even like one or two ! ;)
not in any favourite order....

House of the Rising Sun - Animals
Waterloo Sunset - Kinks
Lazy Sunday Afternoon - Small Faces
Stop,stop,stop - Hollies
The Letter - Box Tops
Like a Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan
God only knows - Beach Boys
Jumpin' Jack Flash - Rolling Stones
Riders of the Storm - Doors
Steppin' out - Joe Jackson
Everybody wants to rule the world - Tears for Fears
Raoul and the Kings of Spain - Tears for Fears
I'm not in love - 10cc
I'm Mandy fly me - 10cc
Move on up - Curtis Mayfield
Save the best till last - Vanessa Williams
Sweet Dreams - Beyoncé
Halo - Beyoncé
Rooftops - Lost Prophets
Hello - Adele
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

So many good tracks in that list, I’m not sure about a couple of them but that’s what makes the world go round. A few to listen to though.

Tears for Fears - Everybody wants to rule the world - https://youtu.be/aGCdLKXNF3w

The Doors - Riders of the Storm https://youtu.be/Wbx6gULYNbc

Animals - Rising Sun https://youtu.be/0sB3Fjw3Uvc

You have a point, I should have quantified that better by saying of that genre at that time but in any case I’ve never been one to duck conjecture, I was luckily born with thick skin and a bad f*** ‘em attitude or perhaps a good f*** ‘em attitude depending on your outlook. Insofar as me announcing such matters, people would know I’m lying ;) I’m most likely the least likely candidate.

LYM ...... perhaps an idea of what the song is and the artist may help .......... I for one am adverse to clicking willy nilly on links that dont tell you anything .......... for all I know "v=50q1mw_ASiU" could be Youtube jargon for bloomin acdc or some other similar cr*p [-X

It's Elvis in two live videos: 'Ready Teddy' and 'Hound Dog'. My favourite song is by Elvis, Scotty and Bill, 'Baby, Let;s Play House'.

Happy Thanksgiving.
