Gowdy provides the hypocrisy and the flawed Democrat position

Mueller didn't even find the LOWEST LEVEL of evidence to charge/indict/accuse Trump of anything, much less find any "probable cause", which is required for search warrants and to even effect a traffic stop.

The report cannot be released in entirety. It's against the law.

The Susan Rice CYA Email

https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo/me ... =hootsuite
On January 5, following a briefing by IC leadership on Russian hacking during the 2016 Presidential election, President Obama had a brief follow-on conversation with FBI Director Jim Comey and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the Oval Office. Vice President Biden and I were also present.

President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities “by the book“.

The President stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book.

From a national security perspective, however, President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia.

[Redacted Classified Section of Unknown length]

The President asked Comey to inform him if anything changes in the next few weeks that should affect how we share classified information with the incoming team. Comey said he would.

Susan Rice
Ya gotta ask. Why do this if everything is being done "by the book"?

It was done to act as an "Oh Well" excuse if the investigation found nothing and Trump was not impeached. It was meant to justify the whole phony counterintelligence investigation and provide cover to those who were orchestrating all of it.

I can't say it enough that this investigation was initiated and conducted by the highest levels of the FBI and DOJ, which is extremely unusual. It was not handled by any field office, which is commonly done. Hundreds of American citizens were unmasked by Susan Rice and Samantha Powers (UN Ambassador). For what? Neither of them provide an investigative function in the administration.

The circle of conspirators was small and only included the rogue leadership of the agencies involved. It was also done with purposeful leaks by the same leadership to the news media to keep the ball rolling. That's the only way it could be perpetuated without an honest agent of integrity in a field office from stepping forward and blowing the whistle -- or reaching a conclusion that there was no evidence.

Judicial Watch Sues State Department for Samantha Power Unmasking Documents
The former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations reportedly requested to unmask over 260 Americans in her last year in office with no explanation.

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of State for “unmasking” and other records tied to Obama’s United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power relating to the ongoing investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:18-cv-00300)). Unmasking refers generally to the practice of political appointees obtaining the identities of American citizens referenced in intelligence surveillance of foreign nationals.

Judicial Watch sued the State Department after it failed to respond to an October 31, 2017, FOIA request seeking information about Power’s unusual unmasking requests, including:

All requests for information submitted to any Intelligence Community member agency by former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power concerning, regarding, or relating to the following:
Any actual or suspected effort by the Russian government or any individual acting on behalf of the Russian government to influence or otherwise interfere with the 2016 presidential election. The alleged hacking of computer systems utilized by the Democratic National Committee and/or the Clinton presidential campaign.

Any actual or suspected communication between any member of the Trump presidential campaign or transition team and any official or employee of the Russian government or any individual acting on behalf of the Russian government.

The identities of U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team who were identified pursuant to intelligence collection activities.
They all expected Hillary to win. Had that happened, all of this would have been swept under the rug and destroyed, and they all (except for maybe Comey) would have continued in their cushy, weaponized government jobs -- some with promotions for their courageous and lawless work. Loretta Lynch would probably be sitting on the Supreme Court today.

I'm looking forward to Senator Graham's investigation on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

"President Donald Trump has already stated that the Mueller report should be public – a statement that would seem to waive executive privilege objections to its release. Barr could submit the report to Congress under that mandate. He could also hand over the report at the request of Congress or due to a subpoena. He could expressly state that he is not waiving privilege arguments for the future but turning over the information in light of Trump’s direction.
Thus, the Barr summary will not – and cannot – be the report itself. However, if President Donald Trump continues to maintain that the Report should be made available to the public, he (and Barr) have the power to guarantee that it is made available."

Rand Paul: 'Time for Congress to investigate' Obama

Source: The Hill
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Wednesday that lawmakers should investigate former President Obama, suggesting that he could have played a role in the years-long Russia investigation that concluded over the weekend.

In a tweet, the senator suggested that Congress should probe the origins of the now-concluded special counsel investigation into Russian election interference and possible ties with the Trump campaign, seemingly suggesting that Obama was involved in the FBI probe that predated it.

"I agree with @kimguilfoyle Time for Congress to investigate. What did President Obama know and when? How did this hoax go on for so long unabated?" Paul asked.
It didn't happen without Bayrack knowing about it, and we have emails and testimony from Susan Rice and Lisa Page. Bayrack knew.

John Solomon and Sara Carter

Extremely informative interview with two of the investigative reporters who have followed the facts involving the Trump-Russia Hoas.

- too many journalists fell in love with GET TRUMP and ignored facts

- some journalists colluded with leakers in FBI/DOJ

- anonymous whistleblowers from inside the government got the ball rolling (March 2017) and continued to feed information to Solomon and Carter

- Comey admits that they "tricked" Gen. Flynn into interviewing without an attorney

- Democrats moving the goal posts again. They want to make public what is illegal to publish. Mueller didn't provide what Democrats wanted. Mueller followed the law. Democrats don't like it. Democrats now claiming coverup.

- Congress has no power to conduct criminal investigations. Their role is oversight. Anything that Congress does in regards to investigating Mueller's Report is wasted time, energy and money. It will also damage Democrats in 2020.

- Dems thought Mueller could walk on water and that he was the greatest. Now Democrats don't like Mueller, whose past wasn't the greatest ... Anthrax Case, Atlanta City Bombing, Whitey Bolger Case, etc. (Do your own research)

- NY Times story in February 2017, claimed that Turmp Campaign officials met with Russians. Even Comey has testified that did NOT happen. NY Times never corrected the story.

- Obama's role in all this? Brennan? Clapper? Susan Rice? Samantha Powers? Powers had over 250 unmaskings that continued to occur up to the date of her departure. There are meticulous records kept of those unmaskings.

- Obama's DOJ and FBI admitted to violating the FISA application process over 6 years. This admission came just a few months before Obama left office. There were hundreds of violations self-reported.

- FISA Court ... Rosemary Collyer is the chief judge

- 2002-03 ... FBI was caught falsifying more than 79 warrants to the FISA Court. Mueller was called in personally and asked how he intended to fix it. The Fourth Amendment was violated numerous times.

- FBI leaked a story about the phony Steele dossier, then used the story that was printed in the media to try to strengthen the credibility of the phony dossier in the FISA warrant. This all happened for the first of four FISA warrants that asked to spy on Carter Page

- The Inspector General Report on much of this information is set to drop by summer on the FBI/DOJ.

More shoes to drop ...

Clapper Sings – Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper Tells CNN Obama Ordered the Trump-Russia Spying Operation

=====

Transcript:
ANDERSON COOPER, CNN HOST: The 2017 assessment that the President says he now agrees with, that was done while you and then NCI Director John Brennan were still in office. So, how can we reconcile the President attacking you, but apparently after a very long time finally, allegedly saying — or saying he allegedly agrees with the product of the intelligence community that you, yourself oversaw?

JAMES CLAPPER: Yes, well, this is — yes, as we’ve come to know the President, he is not a stalwart for a consistency or coherence. So it’s very hard to explain that. One point I’d like to make, Anderson, that I don’t think has come up very much before, and I’m alluding now to the President’s criticism of President Obama for all that he did or didn’t do before he left office with respect to the Russian meddling. If it weren’t for President Obama, we might not have done the intelligence community assessment that we did that set off a whole sequence of events which are still unfolding today, notably, special counsel Mueller’s investigation.

President Obama is responsible for that, and it was he who tasked us to do that intelligence community assessment in the first place. I think it’s an important point when it comes to critiquing President Obama.

=====

Well, there you have it.

NSA Whistleblower: Carter Page FISA Warrant Likely Used as a Gateway to Spy on Entire Trump Campaign

Source: New York 970 AM Radio

William Binney's interview over the weekend outlines what probably and potentially occurred with the Obama Administration FISA warrants against the Trump Campaign.

Binney outlined how the FISA warrant used against Carter Page, a Trump volunteer, could have been used to collect data on Trump, the campaign and even the RNC.

Binney designed the NSA surveillance program and spent more than 30 years at the agency.

Because of Obama's 2014 edict that allowed the collection of data two steps removed from the individual target, anyone who was called by Carter Page could have been spied upon by the NSA. All of Carter Page's contacts would then be included in the NSA net. It should be noted that NO CHARGES were ever filed against Carter Page in all of this and that he had worked as an informant for the FBI in the past.

So if Carter Page called the Republican National Committee or the Trump Campaign, those are all of a sudden subject to monitoring and investigation.

From the transcript:
Binney: If you get a warrant on say Carter Page and for example he has a call or an email to the Republican National Committee or anybody in the Trump campaign, that warrant then allows them to go out two degrees from the RNC to everybody associated with the RNC and from anyone from the Trump campaign to anyone they are associated with.

So effectively what that means is that they had the ability to basically spy on anybody. They could spy on everybody on the Republican National Committee or everybody in the Trump campaign.

Not only could they collect all the data on that second person but all of the data content as well as metadata on anybody that he talks to.
Comey signed the first of four FISA affidavits to spy on Carter Page. All of the affidavits used the unsubstantiated and discredited Steele dossier produced by Fusion GPS as key evidence. That dossier was paid for by Hillary's campaign and the DNC through the law firm of Perkins Coie. It was never revealed to the FISA Court that the dossier was opposition research.

Binney believes that the cabal inside the DOJ/FBI used the FISA warrant on Carter Page to “legitimize” and “justify” spying on the entire Trump Campaign. This could be the very reason why the cabal has fought so hard to hide everything connected with the FISA affidavits.

Dershowitz: 'No legal basis’ requiring Barr to release Mueller report

Source: Washington Examiner

There is no “legal basis” for Attorney General William Barr to release special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia report, according to Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz.
I think, even if Barr were hypothetically to refuse to issue anything, there would be no legal basis for a court to compel him to do that.

The special counsel, under the rules, has an obligation to file a report with the attorney general. There’s nothing in the rules that require the attorney general to make the report public, particularly if it contains information critical of people who were not indicted. So, this is a political issue. This is a media issue. This is not a legal issue.

This rush to release is understandable. The American public wants to see this report. They’re curious. But the law has to be complied with, and the law generally protects subjects of investigations who haven’t been indicted.
Follow the law.

I agree. But I do think that while the A.G. may not be required to release the report, the public interest dictates that the report should be be released to the extent permitted by law. There are, of course, laws which restrict the public release of criminal investigatory information about people who are not charged with a crime, and similar laws on this topic; and those laws, like all others, should be followed. But IMO all portions of the report whose release is not prohibited by law should be released. And given the report's apparent conclusion, I'm surprised that Trump isn't at the head of the line of people demanding release.

I agree. Barr should release what the law/regs allow.

What will be released is what is already known. That's the funny thing about it all. Names of innocent people or the investigation information will not be released.

Dems won't be satisfied. Mueller didn't deliver the goods for them. Now they hate him too.

I've read/seen/heard Trump say more than once that he doesn't care. That Barr should release whatever the law allows.

Entrapment

I have outlined this "circular" hit job once before, but now the media is catching on.

It was a Democrat who laid it all out for us way back during Inauguration Day that reminded us all of the existence of the Deep State. Yeah, that entity that LIBs laugh and laugh and laugh about when they hear it -- because they know it exists.

Chuck Schumer: "Intel officials have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you." Democrat minority leader in the US Senate -- warning Trump.

The stupid, ignorant, moronic Trump survived. An idiot wouldn't have survived, but Trump did.

And now the backfire begins -- and probably with big red targets on John Brennan (CIA) and James Clapper (NSA).

Washington TImes:
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s finding that there was no Trump campaign conspiracy with Russia to steal the 2016 election has unleashed a tsunami of outrage toward Obama-era intelligence chiefs, particularly former CIA Director John O. Brennan and former FBI Director James B. Comey, who are accused of pushing the allegation during congressional hearings, in social media posts and in highly charged interviews on television over the past two years.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper also leveled up highly publicized comments that President Trump could even be an “asset” of Russian President Vladimir Putin, part of a slew of remarks that critics say went far beyond the usual partisan sniping that can accompany a change of administrations.
The power referred to by Schumer and the big mouths of Clapper and Brennan have been the squeaky wheels now getting all the attention.

Don't forget about Stefan Halper. His history in American politics goes all the way back to Nixon, and he has been an invaluable intel asset connection with MI6 in the UK. Defense Department records indicate that Halper was paid over $1 million by the Obama administration. Most of the receipts are in the 2016 election year.

In congressional testimony, members of the FBI admitted that they had planted contacts within the Trump Campaign in their investigation called "Crossfire Hurricane."

Washington Post:
Stefan Halper, first met with Trump campaign advisor Carter Page “a few weeks before the opening of the investigation,” and then after Crossfire Hurricane’s July 31, 2016, start, he met again with Carter Page and “with Trump campaign co-chairman Sam Clovis,” offering the latter his “foreign-policy expertise” for the Trump team. Then in September, Halper “reached out to George Papadopoulos, an unpaid foreign-policy adviser for the campaign, inviting him to London to work on a research paper.”
The two low-level members of the Trump Campaign that were targeted to spread the information that would later be used to initiate the whole investigation are George Papadopoulos and Carter Page. They were set up -- entrapped. They were fed vague, phony information from US intel assets that they repeated. The repeating of that information to others working with US intel is what kicked the whole thing off.

Intel A tells target A a lie. Target A repeats the lie to Intel B, who reports the planted information to US intel. These US intel assets were being used to both infiltrate the campaign and also weave tales to help create the Trump-Russia narrative.

It was all a set up -- entrapment.

Stupid, no. Ignorant, yes. He has no knowledge of history, and thus no historical reference to past events. Of course people didn't always get it right in the past, but it's helpful to have an in-depth understanding of history. He doesn't like to read, and prefers the Readers' Digest versions of what he needs to know. Ultimately, he trusts no one but himself. Many times that approach serves him well. But sometimes it doesn't.

My statement was facetious, but I know yours is sincere.

You can certainly have that opinion, and you're probably not alone; but based on the walk-in closet full of shoes that are getting ready to drop, quite a few others are going to prove to be bigger ignoramuses than Trump could have ever been.

They seriously miscalculated a Hillary victory that would have buried and covered up all of their unethical and illegal deeds. Some are very likely going to be snared in their own trap.

More of Gowdy on the Mueller Report

"If you don't have probable cause, how close you came to it is irrelevant."

Even if Congress thinks they've found something that Mueller didn't find after 2+ years, Congress can't do anything other than turn it over to AG Barr for prosecution. Barr has already given his legal opinion on the report.

Just more Democrat Drama that is probably costing them votes with independent voters.

Democrats are posturing, wasting time and losing votes

Andrew McCarthy, former US Attorney, recently voiced his support for AG Barr and allowing him to complete his work.

Dem lawmakers, still stinging over Mueller's failure to indict Trump are now doing all they can to GET TRUMP. The Dems hate Mueller. The Dems think Barr is involved in a coverup. The Dems are becoming the largest tin-foil-hat brigade in history.

Dems want an unredacted report. Dems want Barr to violate the law and reveal grand jury testimony, reveal the names of innocent people not charged, reveal sources and methods and reveal classified information. It's called desperation.

McCarthy:
What's oddest about this whole thing is that they're posturing over an empty bag, because the grand jury material is likely to be the least important, least significant stuff in the Mueller report. All of the important witnesses for the Democrats who are Trump administration people cooperated with the special counsel and voluntarily sat for interviews. So their material is likely not covered by grand jury secrecy rules - they likely didn't have to testify for the grand jury.
Section 6E of the law surrounding Special Counsel Investigations is that it is prohibited from revealing information about individuals not being charged. Even further, the law prevents the release of ongoing investigations, classified materials and even disputes among prosecutors as to the meaning of the law. None of that, by law, can be released.

McCarthy:
They can issue a subpoena, but I think they're kidding themselves if they think they can compel Attorney General Barr to turn it over. They can try to hold him in contempt, but hold him in contempt for following the law? I don't get that.
As former US Attorney and US Congressman Trey Gowdy said yesterday: "If you don't have probable cause, how close you came to it is irrelevant."

Dems aren't looking for truth. They're looking for something to take into 2020 because they have to message for voters as to how they will improve their lives more that Trump has accomplished over 2+ years.

Over-reach again by Dems. They are the undisputed Champions of Unintended Consequences.

More and More Questions About Brennan

And Brennan has become more and more silent.

First, Comey and then Clapper -- and then 24/7 Brennan, have been all over Trump with accusations and using their past positions as government as a kind of "authority" and in a position to know what the average guy doesn't know. So it gave all of their hollow accusations more credibility -- for awhile. They could also use the past government positions as a reason why they couldn't divulge details. Convenient.

It is becoming more and more apparent that they -- especially Brennan -- has been accusing Trump of doing what they were actually doing to Trump.

Facts, evidence, testimony, and their own admissions now tell us that Comey and McCabe are up to their eyeballs in it. Brennan now looks like he had a very active role with travel and contacts with allies. It's looking like he was one of the conductors in all of it -- at least, to get the ball rolling with government assets who contacted Trump people. Clapper, so far, just looks like he has been running his mouth; but he did make a huge admission on CNN.

Let's examine Brennan, who doesn't have much respect for the law. He illegally spied on the Senate. Hacked into their computers, and then lied to Congress about it. Surprisingly, some Dems wanted him to resign over that. He survived.

We already know that government assets were run at Papadopoulos and Carter Page in 2016. Stefan Halper, FBI informant with ties to the CIA and MI6 was used for this. The other government asset was Joseph Mifsud, who also has ties to the CIA and MI6. The third asset, used to tie it all up into a big bow was Australian diplomat Alexander Downer, who got Papadopoulos to talk about the stuff that Halper fed him. Downer then tipped the FBI.

There are meetings between Strozk and Clapper and Brennan's deputy that are documented in texts that occurred smack dab in the middle of the counterintelligence investigation.

There is a document that addressed alleged Russian interference in the election. It's referred to as the ICA -- the Intelligence Community Assessment. Brennan decided which CIA and FBI analysts would work on this. It included Strzok, and it is widely believed that Strzok was the liaison between the various agencies. The ICA was then briefed to Obama, Trump and Congress.

Now, all of a sudden, Brennan says his sources had "bad information."

Brennan's fingerprints are all over this.
