I think Nick Saban, coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide might be right near the top.

You read it wrong doodoo, which is not surprising. The coaches mentioned by Stan work for professional teams, unlike Nick Saban who coaches for a university

Singapore
Singapore has a GDP (PPP) per capita of $97,057. Financial services make up most of the city state’s economy and many multinationals have their regional offices here. It’s no surprise then that in 2017 Singapore topped the list of the best countries to live and work abroad.

Starting your morning with a cup of coffee or tea can benefit your health in more ways than one. While both coffee and tea are associated with lower risk of developing certain chronic diseases—and have even been linked to helping with weight management—a recent study has also connected the two drinks with a reduced risk of stroke or developing dementia.

Aerophobia
Aerophobia is the fear of fresh air or the movement of air—such as drafts or breezes. Along with a fear of water, fear of air is one common symptom of rabies. Blowing or fanning air on a person with rabies can trigger muscle spasms and an “intense startling reaction,” shows one 2008 study.

2

Globophobia
Globophobia is the fear of balloons. “After being sensitized in childhood by exploding balloons, patients tend to avoid proximity to balloons,” writes the author of one recent BMJ report. That researcher says these patients often run into trouble when they have kids and encounter balloons at other children’s birthday parties.

As World War One drew to a close, a German officer masqueraded as a glamorous woman to avoid capture.

Lt Heinrich Ernst Heinz had twice escaped prisoner of war camps, and was at one point living in London.

But why did he travel to Cardiff to hand himself in to the authorities in October 1918?

Thailand has successfully increased the life expectancy of its citizens to an average of 77 years. Diet has a lot to do with the country's health levels. Traditional Thai food is healthy, emphasizing vegetables, fresh herbs and spices and lean proteins. Many dishes contain coconut milk, which may be better for you than dairy and can boost heart health.
Improving access to medical care has also helped Thailand enhance public health over the past several decades. The country has achieved universal health coverage by bolstering its primary health care system and making it geographically and financially accessible to all residents.
The WHO ranks Thailand's health care system at No. 47. Thailand is one of the world's top destinations for medical tourism because of its world-class facilities with low costs.

German settlers in texas called this animal "Panzerschwein"
The nine-banded armadillo (Dasypus novemcinctus), also known as the nine-banded long-nosed armadillo or common long-nosed armadillo, is a mammal found in North, Central, and South America, making it the most widespread of the armadillos.[2] Its ancestors originated in South America, and remained there until the formation of the Isthmus of Panama allowed them to enter North America as part of the Great American Interchange. The nine-banded armadillo is a solitary, mainly nocturnal[3][4] animal, found in many kinds of habitats, from mature and secondary rainforests to grassland and dry scrub. It is an insectivore, feeding chiefly on ants, termites, and other small invertebrates. The armadillo can jump 3–4 ft (91–122 cm) straight in the air if sufficiently frightened, making it a particular danger on roads.[5] It is the state small mammal of Texas.

This British Army Captain Robert Campbell, who was captured in 1914 a few weeks after the First World War started and was sent to a prisoner of war camp in Germany.
Campbell was there two years until, in December of 1916, he received word from home that his mother was dying. On a long-shot, Campbell wrote directly to Kaiser Wilhelm II asking for leave to go home to see her one last time.
Not only did the Kaiser say yes, but he granted Campbell two weeks leave at home, plus two travel days each way, as long as Campbell promised to return.
And like an honorable gentleman, he did.
When Campbell's allotted leave time was up, he crossed back across the front lines once more, and returned to the prisoner of war camp, where he began digging an escape tunnel.
His attempt at escape failed, and he remained incarcerated until liberated at the end of the war in 1918.

Canada Grows A Lot of Christmas Trees
Did you know our country had 1,872 Christmas tree farms in 2016? According to Statistics Canada, the farms were concentrated in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

If you can't spend Christmas in Canada, you might as well take a little piece of the country with you. In 2017, Canada exported over two million Christmas trees to over 20 countries, including Barbados, France, Jamaica and Thailand.

Rudolph Was Canadian
If you were born in Canada after 1964, your Christmases probably involved an annual viewing of the "animagic" holiday special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Rankin-Bass, an American production company, created this beloved Christmas program, but did you know that there's a secret Canadian connection? All the characters' voices (with the exception of Sam the Snowman) were performed by Canadian actors, singers and voiceover artists at the RCA Victor Studios in Toronto.

3

Canadians Are Always Giving Back
According to Statistics Canada, over 12.7-million Canadians (41 percent of the population aged 15 and over) volunteered for charities, non-profits and community organizations in 2018. Meanwhile, the amount in donations to charities claimed by Canadian taxfilers in 2017 was an impressive $9.6 billion.

Zulu is a 1964 British epic war film depicting the Battle of Rorke's Drift between the British Army and the Zulus in January 1879, during the Anglo-Zulu War. It shows how 150 British soldiers, 30 of whom were sick and wounded patients in a field hospital, successfully held off a force of 4,000 Zulu warriors. The film is notable for showing the Zulu army as disciplined and governed by strategy.[citation needed]

The film was directed by American screenwriter[4] Cy Endfield and produced by Stanley Baker and Endfield, with Joseph E. Levine as executive producer. The screenplay was by Endfield and historical writer John Prebble, based on Prebble's 1958 Lilliput article "Slaughter in the Sun". The film stars Baker and introduces Michael Caine, in his first major role, with a supporting cast that includes Jack Hawkins, Ulla Jacobsson, James Booth, Nigel Green, Paul Daneman, Glynn Edwards, Ivor Emmanuel, and Patrick Magee. Zulu chief and future South African political leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi played Zulu individual Cetshwayo kaMpande, his great-grandfather. The opening and closing narration is spoken by Richard Burton.

The film was first shown on the 85th anniversary of the actual battle, 22 January 1964, at the Plaza Theatre in the West End of London. In 2017 a poll of 150 actors, directors, writers, producers, and critics for Time Out magazine ranked it the 93rd best British film ever.

The Hershey Company, commonly known as Hershey's, is an American multinational company and one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in the world. It also manufactures baked products, such as cookies and cakes, and sells beverages like milkshakes, and many more that are produced globally.[6] Its headquarters are in Hershey, Pennsylvania, which is also home to Hersheypark and Hershey's Chocolate World. It was founded by Milton S. Hershey in 1894 as the Hershey Chocolate Company, a subsidiary of his Lancaster Caramel Company. The Hershey Trust Company owns a minority stake but retains a majority of the voting power within the company.[7]

Hershey's chocolate is available across the United States, and in over 60 countries worldwide.[8][9][10][failed verification] It has three large distribution centers with modern labor management systems.[11] In addition, Hershey is a member of the World Cocoa Foundation. It is also associated with the Hersheypark Stadium and the Giant Center.

Some of the world’s oldest water wells can be found in Cyprus. The stone-age wells that were discovered in Kissonerga, Paphos have been studied and it is purported that they have been around for about 10,500 years. They represent the sophistication of Neolithic period setlers.

2

Legend has it that the Greek goddess of love–Aphrodite–was born in Cyprus. The country is also known as the playground of the Gods. Aphrodite is said to have emerged from a rock at Latchi (now called Aphrodite’s beach) in Poli Crysochous. As the ocean waves crush over this rock, they form pillars of foam that resemble the goddess of love.

Each December, Queen Elizabeth gives each member of her 550-person staff a gift or book voucher, each loaded with a dollar amount that varies depending on how long they have worked in her service. She also gives them around 1,500 Christmas puddings to share between them, according to the official royal website. (For all the math pros out there, that's nearly three puddings per person!) Every gift comes with a little extra something: a greeting card from Queen Elizabeth.

How long can canned food be kept for?
In one famous study, scientists analyzed 40-year-old cans of corn and found that the “old” corn looked and smelled perfectly fresh. You’d be ill-advised to take the risk eating food this ancient though – a rule of thumb is not to stretch beyond 18 months for high-acid canned goods like tomatoes and grapefruit, or five years for low-acid canned goods – pretty much everything else, including vegetables, meat and fish. Never eat from a can that’s bulging, badly dented or leaky.

3
How long to keep

Boxed cereal
Cereal is enjoyed by many for breakfast and most of us have a packet or three in our cupboards. Cereals are given a best before or best by date, and will be completely safe beyond this but may start to taste a bit stale. What makes cereal soften quickest is moisture so keep a clip on the packaging and store in a dry, dark and cool place.

4

Beer
Beer can go off if it’s not stored properly or if it’s been exposed to heat. But if kept in a cool, dark place, expect beer to last up to nine months in a cupboard and up to two years in the fridge after its best by date. When opening a beer, if you don’t hear that familiar pssst sound and there’s no white foam, it's an indication that the beer has gone flat and, quite possibly, off.

Russia has the world’s longest railway. The Trans-Siberian spans nearly the whole country, departing Moscow in the west and travelling to Vladivostok in the east. The entire journey is 9,200km long (5,700mi) and would take 152 hours and 27 minutes to complete non-stop.

Moscow is home to more billionaires than almost any other city. It has 73 billionaires and ranks behind only New York (82) and Hong Kong (75).

2

Sweden has one of the lowest population densities in the world, of only 25.5 people per square kilometre, with the majority (over 80%) living in urban areas that represent only 1.5% of the land area.

3

Sweden has an unusual right for its people that is called ‘the freedom to roam’. It means that people have the right to access all public and private land that is not cultivated (or that is a garden attached to a house) and can camp where they wish. It also confers the right to pick berries, flowers and mushrooms without a permit.

4

Sweden is so good at recycling their waste (with only 1% used as landfill, 50% recycled and the remainder burnt to generate energy) that they actually import waste from other countries (mainly Norway and the UK) which pay for the privilege. Interestingly, a recycling station can be found within at most 300 meters from any residential area.
