I doubt one scone will bung me up again Tam.. besides im armed to the teeth with an arsenal of magical stool softening lotions potions and notions and if all else fails theres the bum gun.

Perfect fruity scones.

They were chilled so 30 seconds in the microwave then 2 minutes in the air fryer (jeez I love the air fryer).
Light & fluffy on the inside & a beautiful crust on the outside. I had butter & jam as topping

Adding FRUIT to a scone is sacrilege, the only fruit sould be the Homemade Strawberry Jam with lashings of Double Devon Cream .

No so KP .. adding DRIED FRUIT such as raisins , sultanas even cranberries n apricots to a scone recipe is by tradition an optional extra .. as with the name scone or scon both are correct and thus so scones with or without dried fruit are classed as the norm .. most definately not sacrilege unless its a personal dislike of dried fruit. .. again fruit or not , scon or scone depends on where you are from and your ancestry.. in Lincolnshire we enjoyed both versions served naked or with butter or jam and clotted cream.
