P-51 Mustang but that's not the question, Google Gimps. The second engine to go into the Spitfire was the Rolls Royce Griffon.

Yes, all correct. Earnest beat you to the P-51 I was after.

Original question on other Spitfire engine also answered by the chap who set it.

It was my question though. Doodoo would have got there eventually. Or is there some prohibition on setting questions obviously inspired after throwing the towel and being unable to answer an earlier question unaided?

Anyway while the quiz master is taking a nap, quick quiz questions are allowed;

Who provided the engines in the Mercedes 190E Evolution models?

Whose wife was, 'She who must be obeyed?'
Rumple of the Bailey.
What's Rumpole's Aussie connection?
The actor who played Rumpole was Australian as Jack said but I can't remember his name.
Leo McKern.
Correct. As was Jack.

McKern was born in Sydney. Who was the other Sydneysider who had talk shows on UK tv?

The doggies, the dogs, the bullies, the scray, the mighty mighty bulldogs -

Dean, did ever get to a game at the Western Oval out in Footscray? Last game was played there in 1997. Those were the days.
No, both games were at the MCG. One was Doggies v Richmond and can't remember the other one.

Also watched the boxing day test at MCG.

Great memories. You Aussies (well the ones in Melbourne) have got some great sporting venues. 8)

I'd move back to Melbourne tomorrow if the opportunity presented itself.
Both my brothers are members at the MCG. Always a good day out cricket or footy.

I thought (Google suggests) they just added their tuning package to an AMG mill?

Good question though. Waiting for a genyoowine petrolhead to step up.

Cosworth is correct, well done Joepai.

Google does not always give you the correct info. Cosworth provided the engine for the Evo 1 and also increased power for the Evo 2. Was my dream car as a teenager (I'm a bit younger than you lot \:D/ )
Nowadays every AMG version is hand built by AMG and you even get a name badge on the engine signed by the AMG mechanic who hand builds the engine.

Henry V won the magnificent victory at Agincourt. Shakespeare wrote about it too.

This is a guess from a faulty memory but is Seven Samurai the Japanese movie?

Virginia is named after the Virgin Queen, Elizabeth I.

I should know the San Diego one, but I forgot...Juarez?
