Here is the Singing Brakeman, Jimmie Rodgers again. We can see and hear him perform, 'Waiting for a Train'. It's from around 1929.

Though far from a great song musically, this one has one of the best lines ever written, IMO:
The roller coaster ride we took is nearly at an end. I bought my ticket with my tears, that's all I'm gonna spend.
This song also contains the relatively rare appearance of a double-neck guitar/base.

747, I did. A brakeman in Medicine Hat, Alberta got us onto the 2nd unit headed to Winnipeg, Manitoba. The 3-hour journey took 12 hours because the freight train stopped in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan shunting boxcars back and forth. We were tired, hungry and filthy from the soot by the time we reached the 'Peg. Suddenly, a police car appeared and asked for our identity and didn't believe us when we said we weren't on the freight train. We checked out okay, and the parting words from the policeman were: 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness. I should shoot you now!'. This was in 1971.

Cascada has made a number of hits that I quite like. Seems to have faded a bit more recently, though, as she moved into electropop and hasn't had a hit nominated for any type of award since 2011. Her biggest was:

But I always preferred:

Now you come to mention it :-k I do have a wide and weird (fingers in correct order this time) taste, from Opera to Glam rock and from Crystal Gayle to Quo and virtually anything in between, In fact apart from Rap & Jazz, neither of which I class as music I can usually listen to most things

It being Easter may I give you, 'Positively Fourth Street', by Bob Dylan.

Unfortunately, I am unable to download this great song.

Of course, I made a mistake.

The Easter song is, 'Just Like Tom Thumbs's Blues'. But both are well worth a listen.
