The AFL grand final is Saturday 30 Sept. The bar will open at 9am and the free BBQ of sausages,eggs,onions and tomatoes on bread rolls available from 10am, coffee and tea from 9am. The game kicks off at 11.30am Thai time and if you wear Tigers colours, you get a free lge beer. Four TVs will be tuned in for the game and plenty of room.

NRL Grand Final. Daylight saving in Australia starts this Sunday 1 October.
Sunday. Kick off 4.15pm Thai time. The bar will open at 11am and the free BBQ starts at 2pm with the same goodies as Saturday including hot dogs. If you have a Cowboys jersey or similar, you get a free lge beer.

As you can see there is a time clash with F1 and NRL, so 3 TVs for the NRL outside and the F1 inside the bar with plenty of volume on both sports.

Correction for the NRL grand final, its a 3.15pm KO Sunday. The Rugby site has done it to me again, you have to check and double check all their games for KO times. Customers just turn up, no reservations required, we have plenty of room and parking no problem.

The Rugby League World Cup 2017 is just around the corner. Australia, New Zealand and PNG are hosts for the 14 participating countries. You will not see another world cup till 2021, so have a look at this one, it may be the last you will see as some of us could be dead by 2021.

In the meantime, this weekend we will be showing the last game of the southern Rugby Championship, Australia - New Zealand, kicks off here at 4pm Saturday live. There is a gas BBQ at the bar, so if you want to bring along your own steak, chops or sausages and salads, you cook them yourself. The bar will supply cooking utensils, plates etc and all free of charge.

The Australian round of MotoGP happens at Phillip Island. MotoGP race is 12MD Sunday Thai time. You can watch all other races from 9am. GP qualifying from 11am Saturday.

Plenty of room and ladies can choose their dining area from 3 rooms at the bar.

England has shown why they are in the world cup for a good reason, they are a very good side. From KO, they gave it to the Aussies and were relentless, at half time it could have gone either way, but the Aussies kicked ahead to win 18-4. The internet was a bit slow today, but we managed OK,hope it improves for Sat and Sun.

The opening ceremony was a bit ordinary, could have done a lot better in my opinion, I think the organising committee forgot it was a 1 in 4 year world cup. Tomorrow 3 games, entertainment all afternoon together with the Rugby and Cox plate from Melbourne at 1pm.

The Wallabies kick off their game against the Barbarians at 11am today from Allianz Stadium, Sydney, sorry for the late post about this one.

The WS Cox Plate from Melbourne starts at 1pm today.

The bar will open at 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) for the Melbourne Cup race which starts around 10-45am. Coffee, tea or ice cold piss, your choice.

Southern Rugby has now moved to the north of the planet, (thats the top part of earth) so not ideal times to watch live in Thailand. Today (Friday) Hong Kong plays Russia at 6pm here live, it may be an entertaining game.

We will be watching replays of the games at the bar at a more suitable time. Signs will be displayed advising customers to keep quiet and not reveal any results, so don't watch any news or sports results on Sunday morning, also SIGN language will be forbidden.

First up at 11.30am SUNDAY, Scotland - Samoa.

Australia - Wales at 1pm.

England - Argentina at 2.30pm.

A couple of requests have arisen that maybe some of the rugby games that are on my Sunday time slots can be shuffled around a little. The Wales - Australia game will not be moved from the 1pm slot. However depending on how many turn up for a particular game, they can be moved to suit customers request's. I will not be staying up for the games tonight, bed time for me is 7pm.

The rugby season is nearly here. 6 Nations commences Sat 3 Feb and a bit late for some of us to watch live. We will be showing replays of the games as follows:-

These 2 games will be selected by the first customers who turn up at the bar, bar opens at 12MD.
