I know Ralph has many friends on here so I am sure his brother won't mind me copying his message .

Hi All,

Just to let you know that Ralph has been admitted to hospital today. He was working at home and bent over to do something and did not see a piece of bamboo sticking up. He managed to impale his eye on it. I have spoken to him and he is in good spirits. He is being operated on this evening and the surgeon is hopeful that the eye can be saved. The only info I have on the hospital is that it is the government hospital in Udon.

Cheers

There doesn't appear to be a latest update on his condition so may I just wish him , a speedy recovery and hope it's not as serious as it appears to be .

Me extract the urine out of the Aussie rugby, no never , shame about the Cricket as well though Rob ,however I will say, they do excel in swimming, but there again I suppose the Aussies have to be good at swimming, it is the only way that they are able to escape the penal colony :x

Anyway folks thanks again for your get well messages, I am well on the mend, it has surprised me just how quickly the eye is healing, next step is the removal of the stitches, which I am dreading
