As usual, all the hateful bitter people are able to do is to nit pick logical posts. It must frustrate them that the US is coming back in a big way. Trump has caused one problem. There are now more jobs than people to fill them. Fair trade policies are being hammered out and Mexico has been pressured to help with illegal immigrants. Had the badly needed wall been built, a lot of the problems would not have been created. Stopping the wall from being built wasn't about money, it was simply a stop and obstruct Trump tactic. There are still morons who say there is no problem at the border. Now more money than the cost of the wall is being spent to deal with all the illegals that were caused by a useless congress failing to revise stupid liberal immigration laws. The libtards are winning that one at the cost to the taxpayers.

A few of the posters here make it obvious that all that they want is to see Trump fail at the expense of the country. Putting the US first irritates them enough to call him names and insult people who support MAGA. They really need to get their heads out of their backsides and back into the sunshine to take a look at the progress.

Actually, according to the Evening Standard, just yesterday, Boris Johnson has vowed to make Britain the “greatest place on Earth” if he gains the keys to Number 10 as he said he will united the country by delivering Brexit.

He's going quite a few steps further than Trump, and I applaud the move. I hope Boris is successful.

So there you have it, glalt. Exactly what I briefly stated earlier in this thread.

Your sincere question, asking what their solution is, was completely ignored. That would require thought. They're not about to engage at that level.

The CBoS (shrinking in number to about five now) have no interest in having a coherent, intelligent discussion on topic. It's about playing 'gotcha' on the most inconsequential strands of bellybutton lint that they can find to manipulate and twist into some kind of self-perceived personal victory.

So it went from Trump wanting to put something in place to try to lower drug costs for all Americans, to Trump being a socialist, to me being accused of being a hypocrite, to your sincere question, to international trade, to Australia and Austria, equaling two thread pages of circular foolishness that resulted in nothing. Their tactics mirror the Democrats in America.

You see it happen in every thread that has anything to do with Trump or America. All of the CBoS are intent upon driving every thread to produce the same result, which is why it's a waste of time to engage them.

If THEY ask a question, they really don't want an answer to what they're asking. They're looking for a response that will give them some opening or something they can twist into some red herring or straw man. If YOU ask a question requiring anything specific, you're wasting your time. You might get a response, but it won't answer the question.

None of them are really good at any of it other than making a mess.

Now. They'll come flying back in here with righteous fists held high against all of what they don't like about you or me or Trump or America or whoever else challenges their position. It might not be this thread or today, but they'll keep pulling similar stunts. Best to just avoid the engagement.

Well, yes, of course; but you're avoiding the point. Yes, climate change is natural and omnipresent. The question is whether humans are hastening or exacerbating climate change to our own detriment, and whether, to the extent that the change is detrimental to our continued existence, we can slow it. Isn't that really the issue?
You keep asking the same question, and I continue to provide the same answer.

Climate change happens. No one can tell us specifically how much in any measurable way that man affects it. No one can tell us specifically in any measurable way how they plan to slow, stop or reverse it.

Until those things can be communicated well for the average person to be able to understand it and see where their efforts and money will go, there will be no rise in the number of Believers.

Well, to answer the OP's very incisive and prescient question, absolutely not if this reported* story about the British Ambassador is correct: :-k
Donald Trump 'inept' and 'dysfunctional', UK ambassador to US says

Ambassador Kim Darroch reportedly said Trump’s presidency could “crash and burn” and “end in disgrace”, in the cache of secret cables and briefing notes sent back to Britain and seen by the newspaper.

“We don’t really believe this administration is going to become substantially more normal; less dysfunctional; less unpredictable; less faction riven; less diplomatically clumsy and inept,” Darroch allegedly wrote in one dispatch.

The paper said the most damning comments allegedly made by Darroch described Trump, who was received by the Queen during a state visit to Britain just last month, as “insecure” and “incompetent”.

* sorry joudon, this is from the Guardian - but they are just quoting the Mail on Sunday, which I am sure is far more your cup of tea, and politically aligned with your views.

So there's one more Brit clutching his pearls and has something bad to say about Trump.

Wait.

I need a few seconds to recover from this tragedy.

So Jack Spratt making assumptions again. I do not read much from the MSM, certainly the Daily Mail is not on my list. It was probably getting itself in a twist because the Royals were involved.

The ambassador predicts Trump's presidency will "end in disgrace". Has he had a nod nod wink wink from the Russian ambassador that Putin will release the Moscow hotel sex tapes?

Interesting, -- I see it exactly opposite. Too many people with little to no information picking sides and becoming passionate believers and supporters of what they believe, ridiculing people who disagree with them.

One problem here is that it's near impossible to have a rational conversation about Trump. The Dems hate him so intensely that they have completely lost their ability to view anything related to Trump with any degree of objectivity. Example? It's hard to see lowering prescription drug costs as anything but a win for Americans. Yet Dems can't bring themselves to get behind him on this.

It's not about what he's done. For Dems, it's about who he is. Personally, I can't stand him. I think that he's an arrogant, ignorant, heartless *****. But many of the things he's done needed doing and benefited the U.S., some greatly. Let's go back to lowering drug prices. Unless you're a drug company, how can anyone NOT support that?

Sure, there are plenty of issues on which I disagree with him, strongly on some. But there are also plenty of issues on which he's doing and saying things which are long overdue.

Trump has done or tried to do exactly what he said in his SUCCESSFUL Presidential campaign. Like him or not he leads from the front. I like him because he debunks PC, and PC is the one thing above all that I despise in this world. Think of it. the opposite of PC is ''''COMMONSENSE''

Trump may be arrogant and a braggart, BUT how can anyone deny that he has the country headed in the right direction He says what he thinks whether you agree with him or not. I think a lot more of him now than I did when he was a candidate, He is fulfilling his promises. Obama said jobs were never coming back unless Trump has a magic wand. Apparently Trump does have a magic wand.
