Pelosi wants to be able to have a quorum via the proxy voting to allow Reps to be in their home District in the run up to Mid Terms... Lots of legislation that will be highlighted in the media that supports the Dems priorities even if those bills have no possibility of getting through the Senate.

A problem yes. Right now, the biggest problem the USA has are baby boomers with arch conservative agendas bordering on fascism, they have weaponised Christianity and taken power over the GOP.

The next generation might be a bit dumb, but the boomers are downright a threat to the USA's fragile grasp on democracy.

Tam,

Italian politics stands on its own. How many changes in government in past 70 years? There has always been large fascist movements in Italy and France. Not quite as big in USA and not as boldly declaring themselves as such

3 x 3 x 3 = 36 There were a few of them got this right :-k :-k :drunk:

Sad to say, but this problem is not just limited to the USA

The number of say, younger people, that I have seen in shops / food outlets, who need to use their phone calculator, just to calculate the amount of change that they need to give you, just amazes me. If you make it to simple or be it too easy for them to use phones for any and all things, then they will regress.

Who is defining one group as fascist and the other group as progressive? What are the issues between these two extremes?

The giveaway for me was when Meloni declared herself a fascist. Kinda gave the game away. She has since then denied the tag, but retains the fascist symbols on the movements flags

Great. Now tell me more about your so-called progressives in Italian politics.
