I'm posting this opinion piece as it echos my own opinion of the radical left's words and actions which I read about in the daily news.
...

I found these examples in 15 minutes of reading this week. They are everywhere. America was founded on the idea of claiming and preserving our God-given liberties. The illiberal left, which believes our rights and freedoms come from government, is hell-bent on destroying our liberties and forcibly imposing its thoughts and ideas on all of us."

Broaden the sources of your reading material and avoid most anything that comes via social media. The affirmation echo chamber is real but it exists on BOTH the left and the right.

Coal is quickly becoming obsolete except for what is needed for making steel. There was no reason for the government to to try to outlaw coal. It will slowly die on its own. Of course miners will be laid off.
Agree with all of the above but DJT distinctly trumpeted about America re-investing in coal when he needed those votes. Since then he's gone off the boil.

It's good to be able to laugh at politicians, Democrats or Repubicans......

However, it's sad when you have a U.S. President that's:
- a confirmed habitual liar (100%).
- draft dodger (80% sure about this one).
- doesn't understand ethics and common decency (100%).
- tax cheat (90% sure, but guess we'll have to wait for his tax returns to be released).
- insider trader (been waiting for someone to finally look into this one, another 90% certainty).
- In addition (clear that he's guilty by the letter of the law, but in politics that seldom matters).
https://theintercept.com/2019/10/10/trump-crimes-law/
*checked The Intercept, not clear on their political agenda.....but article is clear cut.
- acts like a 9 year old (lie, deny, shift blame, and of course use "they did it, thus it ok for me to") when questioned or found with his fingers in the cookie jar.

Note: didn't added...
- bigot or racist, as giving him the benefit of the doubt.
- Russian asset or unwilling conspirator, just seems his international decisions benefit Putin's Russia.
oppsss, guess I did unintentionally add them.

Hope no American finds this FUNNY!!!

It's certainly not funny. It is really sad that you believe all the far left obvious lies. Libtards cannot even find a presidential candidate who has a chance of defeating Trump in 2020. They have hung their hats on impeachment rather than finding a viable candidate. The democrat hate platform is not going to win any elections. It's really a shame that rabid democrats were not taught history or they would know that socialism never has worked. Even today it should be obvious that Pelosi controlled Kalifornia has major problems and they worry more about illegal voters than homeless veterans.

The Progressive-Marxists believe themselves now in position to seize control of the U.S. Government by deceit and trickery and all restraints are gone. This is the first time I have ever felt that the nation might be near to collapse. The radical leftists are mad for power. It was almost in their grasp; then it was undone by President Trump's election.

"Republicans have allegedly been barred from even viewing transcripts taken during impeachment hearings. This includes the transcripts of Executive Branch employees who, it has been reported, have provided largely exculpatory testimony.

Testimony, that because of Pelosi’s rules, we’ll never see. Neither will House Republicans or President Trump’s attorneys.

Schiff/Pelosi-led Democrats will craft the narrative and the limited ‘factual’ evidence that becomes public in a carefully managed scheme to shape public opinion.

Does this sound familiar? It should:

“The truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the state.”

This is the latest attempt to silence the defense of President Trump while Democrats rely on the echo chamber of their media allies to present cherry-picked passages to move public opinion to support their illicit scam.

Here’s one example of how the narrative is being crafted and supported by the equally corrupt mainstream media:

Swamp guardian Chris Wallace presented this limited text message exchange as evidence of a quid pro quo:

Here’s what wasn’t shown and that Pelosi ignored in cherry-picked fact sheet she released yesterday:

Pelosi’s rules prevent Republicans from asking questions that may have inconvenient answers during the hearings lest the media have something positive to report in the president’s defense.

Republicans are not permitted to call defense witnesses of their own.

Democrats are so paranoid about keeping a lid on the proceedings that at least some of the hearings are said to have been conducted in a SCIF that has been, up until now, reserved for holding top secret discussions or for reviewing highly-classified evidence.

This ain’t that.

Americans who are watching these latter-day Democrats should ask themselves if they can do this to a president, what chance they would have against these authoritarians?"

- A top US diplomat was told Trump wanted aid withheld until Ukraine said it would investigate Biden.
- Putin and Erdogan just did a deal on Syria.

Pretty much the same with Fox's usual twist.

Figure I have to address lies...... why doesn't Barr, Pence, Mulvaney or even Mr. Trump go before congress and under oath clear everything up. Oh, that's right....lying to congress leads to jail time.

Lastly, amazed Rudy hasn't flipped yet...............or maybe he has and it's taking some time to verify his confession.

Thinking about this, 90% (rough estimate) of Trump associates that provided statements under oath in regard to criminal activity:
- changed their story.
- did plea deals, are in jail or awaiting sentencing.
- admitted to lying.
- wouldn't answer key direct questions.
- implicated Trump in some wrong doing.
Sure I missed a few, but it's just a rough estimate.

How about the fact that if he were not the president he would be in jail right now, according to Mueller’s report.

Glalt, highlighted a few of your comments.
"presidential candidate who has a chance of defeating Trump in 2020" - Majority of credible polls indicate different.
*feel free to check this one out!!!
"hate platform" - Really, Trump runs on a hate platform.
"rabid" - Again, Really......I know you watch Trump's rallies and interviews.......enough said.
"worry more about illegal voters than homeless veterans." Not obvious to me.
*as a veteran, would appreciate any factual info that proves this.

What was the point of your post again, I might of missed it??

Getting nearer bum twitchy time when DJT rolls out the 'but Obama' defense/deflection.

The GOP is getting weary of this inept, pompous, blustering fake.

It's time to squeeze that pimple, lance that boil...

Prosper, really. Have you looked at the Nation's Debt / Deficit lately or are you talking out of your xxx.

Oh, noticed you didn't respond to the illegal voters vs homeless veterans. Checkout this "Homeless Veteran Families Act Bill, passed thru the Democratic controlled House in under 2 weeks.
https://legiscan.com/US/bill/HB95/2019
Will be interesting to see how long it remains in the Republican controlled Senate.
There are more Republican veterans then Democratic veterans in Congress, so expect it'll pass with ease.
*Will track it's progress and keep you updated.

Definitely respect your not wasting your time on rabid democrats, time might be better spent checking your facts before posting. Oh, that's right.............seems you only post opinions with no facts to back them up.

actually, it been a little over 9 months.

to recover some dignity, pls note who sponsored the bill.

House Democrats are holding secret impeachment sessions as they can not allow the public to see their nefarious doings. They have no valid or reasonable facts to forward an impeachment as is well known.

"House Democrats threatened Republican lawmakers with rarely used ethics violations for trying to enter closed-door impeachment proceedings.

The threat came after Republican members of the House Armed Services Committee were ejected from the room after entering without authorization.

They wanted access, arguing the witness, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper, is under the Armed Services panel’s jurisdiction.

“Now we are being threatened with ethics violations,” Rep. Michael Waltz, a Florida Republican, said after leaving the room. “We, as sitting members of Congress, with jurisdiction over the witness, and over military aid, are being threatened.”

The group of Armed Services panel lawmakers was in the second set of Republicans to try to gain access to the closed-door proceeding on Wednesday.

Armed Services is not among a trio of panels House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has sanctioned to oversee the impeachment proceeding.

[Previous coverage: GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz ejected from closed-door impeachment meeting]

When the uninvited Republicans entered the room, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who is overseeing the proceeding, got up and left, and took Cooper, the witness, with him. Partisan bickering then ensued before the GOP interlopers were escorted out.

“We simply very calmly walked into the room, sat down, and were ready to hear the proceedings,” Waltz said. “Adam Schiff got up and left — with the witness.”

Republicans who are not members of the three panels do not have access to transcripts of the testimony, they said.

“I’ve been asking to see the Sondland transcript for days,” said Rep. Bradley Byrne, an Alabama Republican, referring to the closed-door testimony provided two weeks ago by U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland.

The GOP lawmakers said leaders in both parties are discussing the Republican complaints and how to resolve them with some kind of compromise on access.

Lawmakers almost never file ethics complaints, particularly across party lines.

“This witness is an official from the Department of Defense,” Byrne said, referring to Cooper. “They said if you stay in here, we are going to file an ethics complaint against you."

TJ, still can't get get your facts straight.................rabid Trump supporter comes to mind.
Maybe not facts, but how the rule of law / house procedures work (yea, I did some fact checking....TJ you should try it sometime).

Closed Door Session/Hearing:
- Public definitely not invited, thus it being called a Closed Door Hearing.
- Republican(s) on/members of the investigating committee are allowed to attend the closed door session.
* spoiler there are Republican's on the investigating committees, just not the ones that stormed the session.
* Republican's on the investigating committees, can see the transcripts.
- Cell Phone in a SCIF, definitely a serious security violation.

Response to parts of your post:

"House Democrats are holding secret impeachment sessions as they can not allow the public to see their nefarious doings."
Again, how about googling Closed Door irt House Hearings.

"They have no valid or reasonable facts to forward an impeachment as is well known."
Definitely not well known, as polls indicate majority support impeachment. Removal from office, that's another story.

"When the uninvited Republicans entered the room"
uninvited, might want to google search this word.
* my wording would be "unauthorized".

“They said if you stay in here, we are going to file an ethics complaint against you."
Seems like a fair warning!!!

My Opinion: Event was a political stunt, delay action, and witness intimidation.
