U.S. Politics
Re: U.S. Politics
Seems to happen all the time, at least in the U.S. Like the auto execs using their private jets to fly to Washington to testify about pollution issues.
Re: U.S. Politics
Yep.
But the auto execs aren't calling for people to stop flying like the Hollywood Elites do.

Re: U.S. Politics
2 minutes research would show that the new Obama house is in no danger from rising sea levels until at least late into this century - when neither he, Michelle, nor probably his kids, will be around to worry about it.

More bad news for the Cheerleaders for Failure.
Manufacturing hits a 5-month high.
IHS Markit's Purchasing Managers' Index reports the index rising to 51.0. All readings above 50 reflect expansion.
Even though exports slowed due to the global decline, NEW order growth improved.
The index of national activity from the Chicago Fed showed total industrial production rising 0.6%. Overall economic activity rose 0.1%.
Weakness in global markets outside the US has had a slowing effect on the US economy. Despite the slowing, the US economy continues to be the most robust in the world.

America has very little regard for the overall success of the world. As you have written many time "America Great" Down with others that oppose us Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Venezula, Canada, Mexico, Denmark, the list goes on"

China still stealing as much as ever.
Trump proven correct again.
US Department of Justice findings reflect more cases being opened regarding trade secret theft by China. The DOJ has warned companies to shore up their defenses.
Just since 2012, China is responsible for over 80% of economic espionage cases in the National Security Division of the DOJ. The numbers are rising.
In November of 2018, the DOJ launched their "China Initiative" to combat threats to US national security by China. This task force covers trade secret and IP theft, hacking and other international economic crimes.
The Chinese Communists create an environment where industries engage in state-sponsored theft that is ignored by the central planners because they benefit.
As had been said many times, it's not just about trade and deficits.

Two huge investments from Australia in America.
The Cheerleaders for Failure can't be happy with all this winning.
STEADY WINNING for Main Street!
Two huge investments from Australia in America.
ScoMo and Trump working together for Main Street in their respective countries. The Australian Space Agency and NASA have launched a new partnership on future space cooperation. This includes the opportunity for Australia to join the United States’ Moon to Mars exploration approach, including NASA’s Artemis lunar program.
The Australian Government is investing $150 million [US $101.5 million] over five years for Australian businesses and researchers to join NASA’s endeavour, and deliver key capabilities for the mission.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the investment would benefit all Australians with more jobs, new technologies and more investment in businesses that would grow the economy.
The Cheerleaders for Failure can't be happy with all this winning.
STEADY WINNING for Main Street!

Sorry fellas, the commitment is appreciated but $100 million over 5 years is $20 Million a year and at present costs that wont even by lunch
In 2005 this is part of the presentation just to get to the moon. " NASA briefed senior White House officials Wednesday on its plan to spend $100 billion andt he next 12 years building the spacecraft and rockets it needs to put humans back on the Moon by 2018."
Now the $100 Billion was for Earth to Moon Plus another $100 Billion to get to Mars (and we all know how governments are at estimating costs on projects!!!)
Good luck with that and the Wall

So it appears that despite an official government complaint, Trump is disinclined to release the transcript of his conversation with the Ukraine president - on the basis that conversations between leaders should be confidential.jackspratt wrote: ↑September 22, 2019, 4:35 pmTrump and the Ukraine - watch this story develop.
So it appears that the president might have used his official powers — in particular, perhaps the threat of withholding a quarter-billion dollars in military aid — to leverage a foreign government into helping him defeat a potential political opponent in the United States.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... story.html
While that is a reasonable position to take (I won't say principled, because Trump has none), given his continued conduct in breaking any political or government conventions when it suits him, does anyone doubt for a moment that he would release the transcript in a heartbeat were it favourable to his position.
"Tax returns" anyone?

After US-China talks last week, China purchased 600,000 tons of US soybeans.
STEADY WINNING.
But it's gotta be a good overall deal for it to mean anything.
