My feelings are not hurt at all and I am certainly not a delicate individual. I for one do look at the facts and dont live on HYPE, Make America Great Again and now Keep America Great.

Then the dishwasher and shower head issue, really
He did bring a lot of troops home, if the situation changes so does the deployment of troops and the situation has changed.

No troops came back to the United States. After the split with the Kurds, they were sent directly to Saudi Arabia.

Sadly it is shaping up as everyone thought, a kangaroo court with the outcome already decided , personally it again shows the world just how childish, petty and selfish all those Republican Senators are. Morals and Justice has gone the way of the dodo.

Elections will tell how the population see DT has performed so far in his presidency .. since he won in 2016 the haters have been out in force culminating in this impeachment shennanigans which i hope will fail in the court .. then let the people choose in the next election .. n DT may get in again leading Pelosi the trout n her gang to think a new way to rock the boat and disrupt the govermental process ..similar to hoe speaker Bercow did in the UK .

The political system in the US is similar to the UK with a weak opposition party clutching at straws hell bent on disrupting the government in office to get things done.

OMO .. i may be wrong.

Purely as a layman DM likes Trump n for that matter BOJO (and more so Putin)

Trump and his equally criminal cronies in the senate are seemingly hell bent on making America an even bigger laughing stock than they already are on the world stage [-X

Interesting the defence is it's not a crime, in that case the president will be free to do whatever he wants to interfere with the election. Which is hilarious as russiagate would have been ok if Trump had given them permission to do so

I for one, am sick of this entire farce. Their was and is no evidence for removing the president. Rather than the democrats doing the job they were elected to do, they waste millions of dollars trying to reverse the election.

I think everyone can agree that the US congress is useless and they only worry about getting re-elected to their lucrative jobs.

if it is not about overturning the 2016 election , why were they talking about impeaching him before he was sworn in or had done anything wrong . 100 % its about overturning the 2016 election . the whole world knows that
but of course you answered the frivolous part of my post but not the main part which is they were saying they were going to impeach him before he was sworn in ?
Also you answered by replying to something i did not state . I never said the whole world had confidence in trump????
perhaps the whole world hates him but they know this is about overturning the 2016 election result and also to stop him winning in november as he surely will . If the lefties were not scared of him winning again why not do the usa a favour and just wait a few months until the election
No, the whole world doesn't.
Across the 33 countries surveyed by the non-partisan Washington-based think tank, a median of 64% said they do not have confidence in Trump to do the right thing in world affairs, while just 29% expressed confidence in the American leader.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/01/07/trumps- ... liked.html
But he probably retains confidence in the extreme, top right hand corner of the world.

After the 1st (lengthy) day, the prosecutors make the very relevant point:
House Judiciary chair Jerrold Nadler, who is one of the impeachment managers, accused Republicans of “voting for a coverup” by rejecting attempts to acquire more evidence.
I guess if several million hypocritical religious bigots are willing to do the three blind monkeys thing, and vote for Trump, no one should be surprised that 53 Senators are happy to ignore their oaths, and the constitution, and blindly follow the WH directives. :-#

There was, and is, plenty of evidence which should result in the removal of this president.

That it will not, is an issue and problem of politics, and nothing else.

I'm really looking forward to the 2020 election. You will then see how your socialists do. Will you still hate Trump after he is re-elected by a landslide? I doubt that you will admit that you were dead wrong.

Anybody that thinks the Trumpster would be reelected by a landslide must have his stuck deep in the sand. If, and thats a BIG if, he wins will not be by more then 1% of popular vote. Remember he lost the popular vote last election.

Once again, the old 'election reversal' canard. This cannot and will not reverse any election.

In the extremely unlikely event that DJT doesn't get OJ'd on this, Mike Pence and all your favorite sycophants-in-place will endure.

I agree that Congress is a disgrace but when the House presented their weak and biased case, it was unavoidable that the Senate would only respond in kind. The key is learning how and why elected statesmen have allowed this too happen under their noses? Who or what is the polarizing entity that is making one American call another un-American? What is feeding this divisiveness and insecurity? Why is America dissatisfied with its lot?

In the interests of free, open and brutally honest debate, I won't say '...but Trump' if you don't say '...but Hillary'.
