President Trump will not be impeached because he has done nothing to be impeached for. His mistakes are miniscule compared to many others in the past and present. The demorats are desperate because they can not beat him in an election so after trying everything else to discredit him their last resort is a pathetic attempt at impeachment. Like him or not he has done more for the U.S. than anyone including hammering out much better trade deals with Canada and Mexico and now with China.
Just to clarify, again, the Trumpster has been impeached, but will not be convicted by the senate. Plus dought he did much, other then tweet his ass off, to "hammer out" any trade deals, for once he let the experts do their job.
The demorats are trying to impeach him, they have not succeeded and will not. It is similar to being accused or charged, innocent until proven guilty. They are accusing him of abusing his powers, means nothing until it is proven and he is removed from office.
Guess someone needs to read up on what Impeachment is, as has already happened.
Impeachment means the filing of formal charges, not a confirmation of guilt so until there is a trial it means nothing.

When you have the Leader of the Senate Republicans openly admitting that he is not an IMPARTIAL Juror, then we all know and hear just how the USA works. The place is a shambles thjis has divided America and Trump is laughing all the way , he works best when the Divided I Rule scenario wins . As Tillerson stated once ' That man is a MORON '

Thank God for that then, I was beginning to think that it was serious impeachment. So Andrew Jackson, Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton were innocent and just suffering presidential harassment. Perhaps it's time to scrap the process from the constitution, give trump a Sharpie and he can draw a line through that part and no president will ever have to worry about it happening again. Long live individual trump

Jackson and Clinton were both acquitted be the Senate. Nixon was not impeached as he resigned before the process began. This sham against Trump is the Dems clutching at straws as they know Trump is on course to win a second term.

The demonrats have divided America by not accepting their election loss and trying to discredit President Trump with lies and false accusations. It is sad and comical at the same time.

So every impeachment was just a farce, the constitution just an old relic of the past that does not really work, or should I say is irrelevant now days. As said implement means squat really. What a load of drama queens. The odds on any President ever being convicted are zero.so what's the whole point of the impeachment process as it no longer serves any purpose at all, just get a Sharpie and cross it out. that electoral college should be scrapped too so they can get on with real democracy

Usually when people slam the electoral college in the US, especially those from other countries who really don't understand the process, it's always a good idea to take a few minutes and get schooled on the process. If you will watch this short video I think you will change your mind Papa.

There is a process for amending the constitution. I don’t think it mentions a ‘sharpie’. In fact I am sure the sharpie had not been invented. I will read the article again to see if ‘quill pens’ can be used. If only we had a monarch to guide us!!

The only remedy available to the GAO is to sue for release of the funds. Since the funds were released it is a mute point. The request for investigation was done by a Democrat month since ago. If suit had been filed by the GAO it could be litigated and thus tied up for months. Just another example of the partisan battle going on in DC. Lots of smoke very little fire
Anyway, it's only the GAO, the GOVERNMENT Accountability Office talking here. I am confident that DJT will be twittering soon that it won't apply to him as POTUS and that he's only answerable to the PAO or the Presidential Accountability Office. You know, that small department in a broom cupboard down the hall from the Oval Office where the only notable thing that ever happened was the shredding of DJT's tax returns.

Once again, the resolute Republican ostriches among us still fail to see the (once great American but already sold to the Russian) wood for the (butt-hurt, election-losing Liberal) trees that they keep p!ssing on.

The labeling and name calling is simply irresistible for those who have run out of defensive barbs and have absolutely no ability or desire to think freely or see past the end of their own noses. This is far, far removed from the events if 2016 but to present it in the layman's terms that the Trump sycophants claim to adore and understand, I guess the bills on those MAGA caps block more than that jaundiced, righteously conservative sun shining from DJT's wrinkly, hand-parted, orange butt cheeks.

Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body levels charges against a government official. Impeachment does not in itself remove the official definitively from office; it is similar to an indictment in criminal law, and thus it is essentially the statement of charges against the official.

I guess the last three Presidents, Clinton, Bush, and Obama, they had it made, everything was just rosy during their presidencies. There was no bickering, no fighting, and everyone got along just swell. The Republicans respected Clinton and Obama, respected their ideas and helped them get all their agendas implemented, and the Democrats did the same for Bush. But poor Trump is the victim here because he's the first POTUS in the history where the opposing party didn't respect his position.
