Good Morning Mr JAI YEN YEN.
Ok, you will lose your US election bet, Biden will win. Lets move on.
Are you still in British Columbia (BC) ?
You know there is nothing British in BC - except for the miserable weather -and that s a good thing.
Here in Udon, this morning, 28 C beautiful blue sky, bright sun, gentle breeze, passion fruits and gac fruiting, birds singing.... What a lovely Morning !!!
You should rename British Columbia to Asia Columbia to reflect the current population.
You lost Brainless Trump, but you can turn to Trudeau and a newly elected ( no fraud) BC socialist Government , the NDP.....
What s your PLAN C ? Will we see you in the LOS anytime soon ?
Have a nice day.. Don t forget your umbrella.
I don't like Trudeau or the rain but actually the weather here on Vancouver island has not been too bad lately, we have been salmon fishing in the ocean and lake fishing for trout. A little cool but nice with the leaves changing color.
As far as visiting Thailand that is out until this covid mess is under control. We call Vancouver Hongcouver now.
A little cool ? 3C is a little cool compared to my fridge more like . rain expected for the week with an average of 7C during daylight hours. Sounds grand for polar bears . how much daylight do you get this time of year ?
Weather this week is highs of 7 and lows of 3 to 5. That is good for this time of year. Put on a jacket and you are good to go unless you are too sensitive. lol.

About British Columbia, 'Etymology
The province's name was chosen by Queen Victoria, when the Colony of British Columbia (1858–1866), i.e., "the Mainland", became a British colony in 1858.[15] It refers to the Columbia District, the British name for the territory drained by the Columbia River, in southeastern British Columbia, which was the namesake of the pre-Oregon Treaty Columbia Department of the Hudson's Bay Company. Queen Victoria chose British Columbia to distinguish what was the British sector of the Columbia District from the United States ("American Columbia" or "Southern Columbia"), which became the Oregon Territory on August 8, 1848, as a result of the treaty.[16]' - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Columbia

You are right, the pc brigade is strong and thriving here. I could not live in Vancouver or most large Canadian cities. The small town where I live on Vancouver island is still tolerable but changing fast. I am grateful that I have lived in the times I did. The one good thing about being old is I don't have to put up with it much longer.

Going back to the original OP regarding Plan C, well it is certainly turning out at the moment to be emnbarassed about the situation in the US of A .
Senators seem to be refusing to rep[resent their people keeping quiet while the Master fiddles the democratic processes, although a short story about a Watergate Investigative Journalist tells a slightly different story .

The internal and international harm Trumps current actions will or may cause,l cannot in all honesty be calculated . However putting that aside he is showing he is a petulant, sour man who shows an inability to accept any negativity or even responsibility for his actions and yet surprisingly enough an awful lot of Americans think he is good for America. Personally I think including Trump they all have a screw loose somewhere and that speaks volumes about many Americans .

Sadly this seem to be trundling along until as such time Joe Biden is inaugurated. Unable to admit defeat, childlike reactions a non-politician and THAT is man Americans chose 4 years ago , It really does beggar belief.

^ More vacuous casting of aspersions on the American intellect?... this is getting old already.

Emily Murphy over at the GSA has decided that carrying a candle for an increasingly loopy #45 ain't gonna guarantee her pension so she's gone and admitted that it's Biden's win after all. However, she has defended her position, insisting that she had not been pressured or even contacted by Trump or any of his administration. Maybe that's why she's waving the white flag? Donald didn't call her to say, "Stand down and stand by"?

But maybe when she saw the loopy Giuliani show last week and saw how Trump's defense team took a collective step back from lawyer Sidney Powell after her incredibly loopy accusations, Emily finally saw the crayon writing on the wall.

In other news, it's rumored the GOP have got their bus back; it was found abandoned outside the tradesman's entrance at Mar-a-Lago. Unfortunately, the keys are still missing.

KP,

I totally agree. The one thing you did not mention was the Republican Party itself and its senior figures who should have been above this. An Attorney General who seems to have the most extreme view on Executive privilidge as being so powerful and Authoritarian that the President should have individual like power. Rudy G who frankly defies any definition. Mitch O'Connell who adopted 'a whatever it takes' approach to promoting the alt-right agenda. etc, etc, etc

I frankly put this whole thing down to the mindset of conservative christians, they are so immersed in believing that their cause is just, that anything that threatens that view is so far out of their comfort zone, no matter how illogical or bizzare, must be right.

So many actually believed that Trump was God's choice to be president (yes that actually believed that) and anything he did was OK as god's chosen one.

God therefor must move in mysterious ways.
I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani
