Aussies should definitely go to the front of the queue. Our govt is donating enough to Thailand.
Weren’t the Thai billionaires some time ago asked to contribute.

Australian support to Thailand’s vaccine roll-out.
------------------------

Australia is pleased to provide $2.8 million to support Thailand’s rollout of COVID-19 vaccines, as part of Australia’s regional Vaccine Access and Health Security Initiative.

This funding will go towards the provision of technical assistance from the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration and the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance.

It will also support the World Health Organization in their work to improve vaccine-related data collection systems in Thailand and to develop communication strategies to improve understanding and acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines.

Thailand will also benefit from Australia’s broader support to the region, including $21 million to help establish the ASEAN Centre for Public Health Emergencies and Emerging Diseases, and our $100 million commitment to support vaccine access and distribution in Southeast Asia, under the Quad Vaccine Partnership.

We are such nice people.

Don't hear much about any support from other Countries to Thailand, from those who have a strong Foreign representation of Retirees, living the life in Thailand. [-X

Where are all these so called progressive Government Countries. Probably too tight with their purse strings, to think of anyone else. :-k :-k [-X

I think Thailand actually gives out much more than it gets these days. Thailand appears to no longer be a Recipient of Foreign Aid or Financial Assistance, but rather a "Giver of both", these days, which should embarrass Other countries. :-k =D> =D>

BANGKOK (Reuters) -Thailand on Saturday reported a new daily record of 21 coronavirus deaths in one day, the health ministry said, as the Southeast Asian country prepared to open registration for a long-awaited mass vaccination campaign, also 1891 new cases were reported....

Sadly the figures are true.

Udon has now been added to the night time restrictions list.
Basically a curfew from 2300 hrs until 0400 hrs.
Only essential travel is allowed during these hours.

To what end? These governors are like sheep, one does it others start to follow. Far too little to late and what do they hope to achieve by this useless curfew, most everything is shut anyway. The idiots should have set restrictions BEFORE Songkran not after the horse has bolted.  :-# - Rant over!

Agree BDD .. im still trying to work out how a soft curfew 23 to 04 will assist the fight against covid ..

Not one word of admittance or regret from the top brass for allowing SK travel which in reality carried the virus out of Bkk nationwide when it maybe could have been contained within to its epicenter ..BKK.

Just added the MOPH line ID in readiness to book a jab at a later date .. as a relative youngster (UNDER 60 JUST) i too like Kopkei will wait my turn to see how it pans out with regard to the different vaccines on offer and the fall out effects if any.

Thanks for posting the details Tam .. very useful.
