Has anyone done or know of someone recently flown into Udon from BKK. The reason I ask is I have a friend flying in who had his 2nd jab 2 weeks ago and been told he will have to go into 7 day quarantine on arrival. Was told arrivals into Udon had to have a 4 week buffer????

He is considering hiring a Taxi and driving up. Quoted 7000 Baht

That seems pretty cheap, average of 415 baht per policy. Just curious who they sold 18.3 million policies to.

Probably the same people that insured against either Man utd winning the premier league or them being impregnated by real aliens as opposed to Thai immigration aliens

soory abit late on this reply, but if it helps..I flew up from Bangers on Nov1 with Thaismile..checkin asked for vaccine certificate, which I thought was swanky, a plane load of vaccinated people. we sat with a spare seat between us all..on arrival noted that there is a lane for vaccinated, and one for unvaccinated passengers..so much for a vaccinated plane full, as over half went to the unvac queue..they checked vaccination certificate again before I grabbed my bags and kitchen sink, and then the dude at the door wanted to recheck, until I bleated on about showing my cert already..he asked where I was going, up country, but let me out without further ado..I did four nights alone in my workshop before schmoozing with her indoors..

little niece came up to village from Udon in an ambulance and then did 7 days isolation at the village medical center, for want of a better term..

I tagged that QR code on the ThaiSmile website for 'Covid watch out' which takes you to an Udon Thani MOPH website where you can register your travel. Flight and seat number requested. You can't register travel more than 72 hours ahead of flight date. You can also register yourself, phone and passport number in the app as well as your address for the next 14-days. Looks like the local track/trace effort from before 1 Nov when there were still some sort of more restrictive quarantine enforcement going on?

When I arrive, I will have my NHS double-shot record, the QR code that allowed me into the country in the first place and a copy of the TM8 health declaration form that's needed to enter the country. All that plus my double-stamped international yellow book.

Probably not important information but this made my day yesterday!
Anutin banned from entering Switzerland to attend a WHO meeting because of his vaccination status.

What is the current arrangement for Thai people re-vax type?
Is Pfizer available to them at all?
Wife's mum and brother yet to get first jab.

Doubt Pfizer is available but seems the Government have finished the Chinese useless first attempt and its all AZ or SinoPharm being offered to the adults. Pfizer supplies seem to be being kept for the school kids.

Just tirn up at uni with ID card or passport.
Got fed up waiting for my jab via expat (booked 2 Aug) so just went in yesterday. Got choice of jabs, in and out in about 1 hr inc 2nd jab booked 23 Dec. Still busy, but not a problem as enough staff in each section to ensure you are not left hanging round
Estimated about 250 to 300 jabs an hour being done
