I have heard that the US are offering a vaccination schedule. I am sure our Americans are all over that right now but just in case.

My kiwi mate in Pattaya just got his 18 year-old daughter on the NZ Embassy vaccination list at SCG (same place as the Aussie and US Embassy shot show) and will be headed to Bangkok on Sunday to get her first shot.

📌 UPDATE 1: Nok Air has posted to confirm they will operate on 19th and 20th July. However, for flights from 21st July onwards, passengers must check schedules on their website or from the QR code in the graphic. I’m not sure what that means. Are they cancelling flights or not? Lots of questions in the comments on their Facebook but no answers yet.
📌 UPDATE 2: Thai Lion Air has just posted their response which only confirms that they will operate domestic flights as normal until 20th July. After that, we can presume they are cancelling all flights.
📌 UPDATE 3: Thai Vietjet has posted to confirm that they are flying their normal domestic schedule until 20th July. Beyond that date, they are neither confirming or denying that they will be flying.
📌 UPDATE 4: Bangkok Airways has posted that they confirm they will operate domestic flights up until 20th July. After that, it looks like they are cancelling most flights until at least 4th August. Exceptions are Samui+ flights and Samui-Phuket round trips.

It appears people have less than 48 hours to decide where they really need to be versus where they simply want to be.

Stay home or stay down there. Either way stay safe.

How can you protect yourself from the Delta variant?

Bottom line: Vaccines continue to be the strongest weapon against the virus. The most important thing you can do to protect yourself and loved ones from Delta is to get fully vaccinated, doctors say. That means two doses of the mRNA vaccines such as Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

All of the vaccine manufacturers have conducted studies to assess whether their shots are still effective against the Delta variant, and they are. Although in these analyses a small drop in potency compared with the vaccines’ effectiveness against the original strain of the virus has been observed, especially in the Johnson & Johnson shot, all three still offer substantial protection against the virus. A Public Health England analysis showed that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, for example, is 88 percent effective against symptomatic disease and 96 percent effective against hospitalization from Delta.

To further protect their citizens, some areas of the country where cases are rising, such as L.A. County, have reimposed mask mandates for both unvaccinated and vaccinated people when indoors. These are measures that have been taken to mitigate the spread of Delta. However, some experts note that the quality of those masks will matter.

Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former head of the Food and Drug Administration, told CBS News on Sunday that "trying to get N95 masks into the hands of vulnerable individuals in places where this is really epidemic” is going to be important, “even in cases where they're vaccinated, if they want to add another layer of protection."

If you have the A-Zed vaccine from England, not India, that is also effective against the Indian variant but not as much as Pfizer or Moderna. The jury is still out on Johnson owing to some worker in Baltimore spoiling large quantities of it.

the first dose of AZ is the most potent, but once you pass your 2 night trials, you will get back to normal very quickly. monitor for the next 20 days or so for any additional effects like headaches or blurry vision, which are tell tale signs of blood clotting, but these are very, very rare.

the 2nd dose of AZ has much lesser side effects (I had almost none)
