A useful link to track Thailand spread

Post by Whistler » March 21, 2020, 9:38 am

https://covidtracker.5lab.co/en.

from there you can download the app showing cases in Thailand as they are being reported. I note this morning, that the closest to us appears to be Khon Kean with 3 cases.

I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

not sure, the web site suggests they take data from multiple sources. I look at a three locations and appeared to be accurate according to other sources.

This site popped up about a week ago. Probably a concerned local who decided that the official mouthpieces were low on evidence and appears to be simply tracking all local online media, collating the events into a hot-spot map with links to the Thai and foreign news articles as well as DPH announcements being cited.

I had a 'debate' on another forum with a member there who was claiming 400 +ve's in Rayong hospital and that Udon Army hospital was 'full of them'. It is interesting to see that there is a line of infected Italians in Rayong including a group of 77 that are in isolation at the Navy hospital but no new reports for 6 days already. So hardly 400 victims, maybe 400 tested?

Notably and thankfully, no masses reported in or near Udon although the fact that it's an army hospital may elicit doubt from some quarters.

Udon Army hospital "full of them". Is there any validity to this?

^ Whistler will be gutted.

It appears they were making the background more sexy with google maps. Epic fail on Opera, Firefox and Chrome.
