Save all of your phony outrage for someone who is influenced by drama. My comments were about the ridiculous debates over numbers that do not matter. Only those addicted to drama have any use for them.

Case numbers and all of the other data is meaningless when discussing a virus with less that 1% mortality in Thailand.

Declan .. two low and shameful posts [-X

Following the daily Thai news TV channels it seems theres a new sadder covid story by the day ..people dying on the streets , in taxis and then yesterday 2 daughters 9yrs and 11yrs whose mum had died from covid at home where they stayed for 3 days before a neighbor came .. both girls infected as well , its unthinkable just what this must of been like for these children and what the future hold for them ?? very very sad.

1 percent of 70 million is 700,000 dead in Thailand. Not to mention survivors who suffer from all sorts of debilitating conditions as a result of this virus. Last but certainly not least, what do you think the health care system will look like here as we climb to 700,000 dead? It is already collapsing! Many more people will die, without even being infected, as a result.

Don't argue with fools.

Expecting some serious depressing numbers today .. hearing over 17k nationwide cases...and 168 deaths still TBC

Confirmed this morning by a police buddy .. seems a large percentage of the BIB in Udon have now had a third vac shot , first in line were the officers who like our mate has been involved in the transport of 100s of returnees from Bkk.

As a footnote ..my brother in Nan province went to immigration there to register himself residing back home , he also went to the local MOPH office to show his fully vaccined docs from UK and was given card to carry in Thai language.
also ..both immigration and the MOPH departments knew exactly where he had been .. in SQH 14 days in Bkk plus then the Salil hotel Sukhumvit soi 11 AND the full details of his QR travel code he obtained via the registration link.

Big brother most certainly knows where you are once in the overall covid system

The numbers in red are the positive cases for each amphur in Udon
Now that the CinC has said numbers will begin dropping in the next 3 to 4 weeks, I'll be looking for any evidence. Funny, I seem to recall the same fortune telling coming from the other side of the Pacific this time last year.

- Ban Dung District 51 cases
- Nong Han District, 27 cases
- Kumphawapi District 25 cases
- District Phen 22 cases
- Mueang Udon Thani, 17 cases
- Non Sa-ad district, 14 cases
- Kut Chab District, 13 cases
- Ban Phue District 11 cases
- Wang Sam Mo District 10 cases
- Sri That District, 8 cases
- Chai Wan District 8 cases
- Na Yung District 8 cases
- Nong Wua So District, 7 cases
- Nong Saeng District, 5 cases
- A. Kukaew 5 cases
- Phibunrak District 4 persons
- A. Sangcom 3 persons
- Prachaksinlapakhom District 3 cases

Parrot, is that net cases in each amphur after subtracting for any imported cases from other provinces? You've introduced a new map that I haven't seen before, and I just want to know how to interpret it. Thanks in advance!

Again thanks for posting Mr P ..

SFG makes a good point tiz a tad confusing with different numbers covering different groups and time periods.. one thing that isnt in question its a very serious situation...and we should all try to remain vigilant.

Surely there has to come a point where Udon province and others around isan reach saturation level with returnees .. has any information been on the province FB or other media platform to offer any idea as to the plans at such a time.

The old army barracks on HW 2 at Ban Chaiyaporn are being / have been turned into a field hospital and isolation center.

Don't know local transmissions but not at all surprised that Ban Dung is now at the top of the list. Drove through town today on my weekly one stop shop at BigC, it's as if there is no pandemic. I'm thinking the population has just had a gut full whole thing and don't give a toss.
