Thanks Samuel, greatly appreciated. I tried googling the Udon Thani Provincial Health office without any success. I was told that the office near walking street would close by early December. How do you get all that neat stuff ?
Stay safe.

To add confirmation to the above, I visited Ban Dung hospital today to enquire about getting a 3rd Pfizer jab.

The staff looked at my Vax Certificate, and then checked a list of vax combinations - told me I must wait till 6 months after my 2nd jab.

See you in March (unless things change).

Being in the land of "moving goal posts" and "endless hoops" changes can be guaranteed. Think I will go 1/2 dose of Moderna when the time comes.

Yes, the fast-track booster is for the unfortunate peons who had that ******* muck, either once or twice.

I think the emerging "science" indicates that a Moderna booster is better for those already double-fyzerd or double-astrazeed.

Come April, the science will probably say something else

As they were checking the list, I didn't notice "******* muck" being mentioned.

Is that a new, unpublicised vaccine?

Let's agree to NOT go there lest it induce a(nother) threadphuck by (at least one of) the Terrible Twins.

Disclaimer: Both Sinopharm and Sinovac have belatedly been added to the more sensible world's list of acceptable Covid placebos.

My partner and I went for booster vaccines in KK today. We were double vaxed in England in May/June.

Pfizer and AZ were available and there were many, exclusively Thai people, present.

They confirmed falang could have the jab and, all ok until they asked if either of us had had Covid. When I confirmed that I had it in July, they said I needed to wait til 6 months after that.

No sweat.

Have you also gone ahead with getting the Thai vaccination passport? Your partner and yourself will have the NHS double-shot QR codes and AFAIK, there's no way of merging them in a single document like one member was able to do in Australia. I suspect the importance of having evidence of being boostered will become a requirement for international travel if not entry/re-entry to some countries.

Good question. I had intended to ask after I got my vaccine but, as it didnt happen, I never got round to it.

I left my g/f to get hers alone as they were just closing for lunch (only in Thailand!) and I didnt fancy hanging around. I will ask her if she queried it later.

Guys you know have been getting Pfizer as a booster in the Ban Dung Hospital over the last week on top of Sinovac and AZ. Pfizer x 2 recipients were told to go away for 6 months = I would guess this is a nation wide requirement.

Did you just walk-in or need appointment?
Where else to get boosters?

I do not qualify for a booster yet.
You need to know which day's they are giving the shots, at the hospital, and just walk in. Take your documentation showing proof of previous jabs.
No idea of of any other locations, if any, in the Ban Dung Amphur

Back on Topic .. BKKUDH called yesterday to enquire when i will go in for my Moderna vax ... i explained i have had 2 Pfizer jabs already the second / last being Set 13th and the Moderna will be as abooster .. no problem please drop in the hospital late Feb / early March to make a booking as after 2 Pfizer need to wait 6 months.

Not wishing to start a ---- fight or pissing comp .... but Im not sure where i read some info re after 2 Pfizer the booster should not be another Pfizer and Moderna as a booster offers the highest % protection.

Got my booster in the next village today.
Was asked what booster l wanted. I've had two astra zenica and they were willing to give a third shot of zenica.
I showed them the recommended table which Samuel posted on the 28 dec last then they decided to give me Pfizer. I did get a feeling that they weren't sure of what to give. We took a neighbour with us for her booster who has now has 3 astra zenica shots.
