"Expired Certificate" Message

Post by jackspratt » January 26, 2022, 10:33 am

I am getting a "Your connection is not private" message when trying to view the forum on Chrome via my PC and android tablet.

This is followed by:
This server could not prove that it is www.udonmap.com; its security certificate expired in the last day.
when I click through. My time and date settings are correct.

Admin, can you please look.

I got the same error messages when posting this morning. Hitting refresh reopens the thread in post review mode and shows the message posted ok. This was both while roaming on DTAC and on 3BB at home.

I have the same issue. I tried to sent an email message to "Contact Us" to report the problem but not sure if it went through.

I guess the web site developers have to apply for and maintain certain security arrangements with browser entities.
I'm sure we will get an answer from admin.
All OK now, so they are on top of it.

Did Officer IC Udon Map forget to put a shilling in the meter?

Everything is hunky dory - new Certificate issued yesterday, and valid for 3 months.

A shilling well spent. 👍

My message was along the lines of Udon Map has been hacked and any information you have there such as passwords are in danger of theft.

You're safe Uncle - the new Certificate (along with the shilling) is all that was needed.

I have confirmed this with statto, who is my go-to IT guy on the Map.

Well, that's somewhat of a relief. Another go-to-it guy? First it was the Mighty Chang, then Izzix, then KP/Guns, then Niggly, and now Statto. Watch your back Khun Statto.

And when did Izzix's certificate expire?

Asking for a friend from Putney Bridge, you understand.

Has your pal from North Putney apologised yet? It never expired. He tore into shreds during one of his hissy fits.
