The disarray will come when voters through no fault of their own are unable to cast a vote due to the closure of a polling place and the overall result of the electorate will possibly be legal challenges.
As to in your words 'a few voting stations being closed will have minimal impact'. Obviously you have no respect for our inalienable right to be able to cast a vote. Based on that comment, it is not unreasonable to draw the conclusion that you subscribe to the theory that being prevented from voting forms part of your definition of socialist democracy. Only you would attempt to draw a connection between an inability to vote due to the AEC failing its obligations as compared to what occurred in the USA elections.
Why the long winded explanation in relation to the counting process, you are not the only person with an understanding of this process.

Correct me if l am wrong Tamada, but surely it is the AEC's responsibility to provide the appropriate staffing levels to open every acknowledged polling place across the country. If this is not so, then who?

utter BS. Electorates have many, many polling places. It also varies from one election to another anyhow. Your language is also unhinged. When was Australia a 'socialist democracy'? Australia as no Bill of Rights, there is no inalienable right to vote, there is a right to vote under The Electoral Act. Name a single electorate where people are being denied the right to vote? All polling places are advertised well in advance of the election, who, apart from yourself has made that claim?

Anybody with limitations such as a disability who needs a lift to a polling station has free transport available with volunteers from all major parties participating, this is available on election Day and pre-poll voting.

My explanation of the process was to show the relative unimportance of the polling places. Many on this forum will not be familiar with the process. In particular our American forum members where counting actually takes place at the polling station.

They can't provide something that doesn't exist though, ie. enough staff in a few more remote locations. Since Australia chose to shutter itself for the best part of a year longer than everyone else except North Korea, you can't just conjure up staff that doesn't exist. That's why they are asking for inter-agency assistance and volunteers. It will be the same for schools, factories and all sorts of other entities as the world gets back on its feet. In the UK, the surge in post-Covid travel demand at Easter has seen a total shambles with understaffed airports and airlines cancelling flights.

What would you propose the AEC do? Delay the election?
Do you think the staffing shortage being revealed so late in the game is deliberate?
Is some party or other manipulating the AEC?
Will any party greatly benefit from having a few people miss out on voting in "Capricornia, Flynn, Kennedy and Leichhardt in Queensland, Barker and Grey in South Australia, and Durack and O’Connor in Western Australia."?

Sorry,

But has anybody stated that remote electorates have in any way been seriously impacted by closed polling stations? Some may be in small towns and have to drive to the next town, hey they have been doing that for decades when banks closed smaller branches, the are a hardy lot in the bush. My old electorate has 45 polling places for a voting population of 111,000 registered voters, some in very remote locations. Tons of places open, some only a few hundred metres apart. Is there any evidence of a single polling placed that is no longer open in large electorates with a widely scattered voting population. This is a beat up of the highest order by TT.

The same TT who got it wrong in the 2020 US election where he cited issues such as the Pope and the President of Italy flying satellites over the US to hack into voting machines and flip Trump votes to Biden. What ever happened to Pompeo's trip to Italy to arrest the pope? Oh yeah, that was a Qanon claim, as baseless as TT's accusations here.

UPDATE

5.44pm
Thousands sign up to work on polling day
By Latika Bourke
The Australian Electoral Commission says more than 5000 people have signed up to man polling booths on Saturday, amid concerns that people contracting COVID-19 could see some booths closed altogether.

Commissioner Tom Rogers said that some areas where booths might have to have been closed would now be guaranteed to open on Saturday but could not rule out other closures.

“For those areas of concern, people are putting their hand up to help deliver democracy in their community, which is great, but we need more,” he said.

“The new registrations mean some of the locations we identified yesterday are no longer of critical concern but others are still falling short and, given the current environment, there could be new areas of concern arise,” he said.

“However, the impact will be limited. We will have the absolute vast majority of the 7000 polling places we operate across the nation on election day open and operating as per usual.”

As of Thursday afternoon, more than 4 million people had cast a pre-poll vote with a further 2.68 million applying for a postal vote before the deadline.

The AEC reiterated that people who test positive for COVID-19 from 6pm on Tuesday and are in isolation may not be able to vote.

Reporter Billie Eider has been speaking to some Australians in this situation, they are horrified they won’t be able to have their say on Saturday.

I see old clumsy bowled over a kid while some kids were kicking a soccer ball around. Bit of a hoot. I'm guessing that's one of his last memorable acts as Prime Minister. Democracy looks alive and well in Oz.

Jack you certainly have a high personal opinion of yourselves.
Nominating Julia as the best does not make that opinion hold much water.
How you forget she became the gymnastics champion with the best gold medal backflip this century. Not only did she crawl under the covers with the greens on the carbon tax rort but she stuffed up the illegal immigrants issue with her ridiculous “send the to Malaysia” policy.
Then her own socialist party dismissed her unceremoniously so she would not embarrass the lefties in the coming election. That was left to Kevin.
So yes in hind site you do know what you are talking about. I’ll expect your dynamic duo partner to jump in soon.
But
Good luck tomorrow.
