OMG I hope I didn't set this one running (or sashaying in this case) . It's a very nice posterior. I fundamentally approve of it. It is a totally transcendent tush. They are the glutei maximi Harrods would have sold pre-Fayeed. 8) 8) 8)

Do not let the beige worldview limit your horizons - wobble those cheeks with pride! Be the only haunch honcho in the village!! =D> =D> \:D/ \:D/ ;)

As I said on the Slade thread it's basically not a matter what I approve of. I don't lock myself in a room when online so anyone, TW, stepdaughter and their friends etc., walking behind me can see what I see. I have to admit I was not aware that the avatars could be hidden until Bob mentioned it.

I don't find Jack's avatar offensive or crude. More funny, along the lines of 'wow, look at the size of that arse'. Seriously, however, there has to be an ultimate line drawn on posts and avatars, in respect for anyone accessing the site. For example, I wouldn't think if the girl turned around, that would be acceptable. The avatar doesn't cross the line - IMO.

I find it rather childish but not in any way offensive . Bit like the majority of Jacks post I suppose . :-"

Jack, your avatar has become an Udon Map institution ! 8) No way you should delete it.
And for those who find it unacceptable, you can use the hide avatar option. :|

Bl00dy hell - now you have gone and put me in the poo, jon.

I promised her I would never reveal it was her, and she agreed to always take her false teeth out. :^o

Mind you, I had to digitally enhance the old dear's derriere slightly. I turned out very well, considering the original photo was taken in monochrome on a Brownie box camera. :D

Three things, firstly - there is nothing wrong with showing off a well fit bird, secondly - if I'm in the internet cafe looking at one of JS posts everyone thinks I'm a pervert, and last, I liked the Avatar movie which has nothing to do with anything, I know.

OT.............Voted that the JS avatar should stay........ \:D/

Associate an avatar with a poster? So, the bottom line is when you think of Jack then an Ass should appear in your mind? Makes sense to me. I vote keep the fanny, er bum to the non-yanks.

Actually the only time I received any flak for my avatar was from an animal rights welfare group, I just responded with the fact that I love animals too, hence the reason I kept missing the chicken :)

Anyway, just as a reminder, if you feel that you would like to remove the ability to view avatars when you are online, then just click here:
http://www.udonmap.com/udonthaniforum/u ... &mode=view

and select NO in the display avatars section, then scroll to the bottom and click on submit.

BobHelm wrote:This is becoming off topic but I will reply to the Avator issue & the suggestion that Moderators are not doing their job by allowing Jack to continue with his.
Quite simple....
Go to User Control Panel at the left hand side of nearly every page.
Click on the Board preferences tab
Click on the Edit display options
Click on Display avatars: NO option
Problem removed.
Sadly this issue is a bit of a reflection of this complete thread - too much suposition & name calling & too little information based on the truth!!
If anyone has anything further to add, PLEASE keep it to the subject & remember that 'name calling' is not only against the Forum rules but does little to enhance any information given by anyone indulging in it!!

Bob

With all due resect to you Bob there is one problem with your solution to naugty Avatars, i lost them all? maybe i did it wrong or the site needs some miner alterations. I really do enjoy the Avatars you know. I supose i will be told that is the choice. Well if that is the choice surely the choice of the knokers is to not view this thread, that may solve the insults and threats and keep it on topic.

This is the Forum rule on the subject:
4. Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated.
I think it's important to also keep in mind that:

>what maybe acceptable to one person may not necessarily be acceptable to another.

>as has been pointed out to me, casual readers from wherever, some of whom maybe women or children or those with stricter religious or moral views, won't readily be aware of how to shut off the viewing of Avatars.

I conclude a little bit of common sense and sensitivity should prevail. ;)
