I have the avatars turned off. Most of them are tasteless and a distraction, at best.

I too have turned off avatars, mainly because I find them juvenile and distracting. I only turn them back on when someone discusses a particular avatar. A side benefit is that the pages seem to load a mite faster.

Nope not leaving but judging by some comments I should and leave you all , but I am not that sort of person, I understand the geriatric personages who whinge and moan, so I will just forgive them their Senior Moments.

But my avatar is a very sensitive soul, so I/she would appreciate people going easy on her. After all (as she explained to me), it is not easy to display your bum day after day on a very public forum. =D>
