Quick question for the chaps with login issues, what ISP are you using? Who provides your internet connection?

Another question, does this issue persist after connecting to the internet via a VPN?

ISP - True

VPN on - no difference.

Slightly different, but no better results in Chrome.

I've even lost the "Report" and "Quote" buttons (from inside a post) completely now.

This is what my screen looks like now - nope, sorry that doesn't work ie can't add attachments.

There's a "keep me logged in" box?

Just noticed today that there's a really short fuse on the need to re log-in. Like an inactiviy timer? If you post, then go off browsing or have a piss and come back and try and post again, you need to do like Shado and log in again.

Also note that the report/quote/edit buttons have moved from the top right to top left in a reduced size 3-dot button.

Maybe it's like roadworks in Thailand where there's no need to tell drivers that there's roadwork ahead?

Thanks for heads-up re the report/quote/edit buttons - there as you say, but not appearing as a 3-dot thingy in my version.

Also ticked the "Keep me logged in" box several times, to no avail.

Using my Chromebox now and it works fine - no Windows involvement.

The small 3-dot on the right only happened on FF some time this moring around the same time as it needed me to log in again.

Just fired up UM on Chrome which hasn't been used for UM recently and had no saved password and it took four attempts to log-in. Got the incorrect form submission message like Shado. When I clicked on 'Your Posts', I had to log in again, like Shado. When I wanted to post, I had to log-in again, like Shado.

FF showing no login issues.

Closed all browser windows, re-opened Chrome and UM here. Will post now without the need to log in again (I used the "stay logged in" tick box thingie last login) This was the third post without needing to log in again.

CORRECTION: "Remember Me" tick box

Pending Windows updates are often the culprit when PC's do strange things. May want to look in that area.

Yes W10, but 99% FireFox. I also have Chrome, and that gives different, but not better, results.

Everything seems hunky-dory on my Android tablet, as it is with my just checked lappy (also W10 and FF).

Back to the drawing board.

I think (hope) I have solved the problem.

I did much the same as jackspratt and it seems to be working better now. We'll see how it does the next few days.

I would say those still affected should:
1. Hit the delete cookie link at the bottom of the page
2. Close all browser windows
3. Check for Windows Updates (if using Windows OS)
4. Reboot
5. Update all web browsers manually
6. Delete the cookies in each web browser associated with UM
7. Open a web browser and UM and sign in with the remember me box ticked
8. If the problem persists, post all the details you can with OS and its version, browser name and its version and any other relevant details

I would guess doing these things will clear most issues but with the knowledge in this community, we should be able to resolve it unless you are still using Windows XP, [-X

Worth a go, I reckon. I'll try on the Windows laptop tomorrow.
