Festival In Dansai?

Does any one know what are the dates for the Phi Ta khon festival in Dansai?

I finally found out some info on the festival in Dan Sai. It is on July 1-2. I went last year and plan to go again. It is probably one of the most unusual festivals in Thailand. check out www.tatgovernor.com for more advice.Its advisable to phone ahead to see if any changes are made to dates etc.

I would like to go, they also have wine grapes in the reigon, any one tried the local wines

I was in Loiue not to long ago for a wedding I was going to try to get up to one of the vineyards and see if I could get some cuttings from thier vines and see if I could grow table grapes here. It would never work for a winery but it could end up as some nice treats, vine rippen grapes are wonderful. Didn't make it didn't have time apparently the vineyards are about 50 Kms from Louie, or at least that was what I told.

Nice and cold in december almost frost on some mornings in the hills, want to go for a few days again this year
