Anty Decent Gyms here?

Post by ace112759 » January 7, 2015, 2:50 am

I will be in UT in February for a week. Are there any decent fitness centers/ gyms that have suitable/ normal size equipment and free weights?

Can you purchase punch cards or pay per day?

Thank you.

Check out the gym at Udon Wattana Hospital (Near the entrance).

Daily is 40 baht. Monthly membership is 600 baht. Clean and with a view overlooking Nong Prajak Park, not some dinghy gym that charges mostly double.

I've been to the Wattana Hospital gym today and It was alright for my workout. It's nice and clean in a room besides a regular hospital room. The gym was small but it was ok since I was alone. Another thing I noticed was that free weights are limited to 5kg max however I could use a barbell with up to 30kg. There was a large handicap toilet with shower but for changing room but there was unfortunately no water pressure in the taps. I payed 60Baht for a one time use of the facility.

I recommend Your Fitness. They're presently located in UD Town, but are due to close on March 3rd to relocate to Prechaa night market (around back) and reopen on March 12th or earlier.
