Two in One: 130 Anniversary/Chinese New Year

Post by parrot » January 17, 2023, 3:35 pm

The city is celebrating its 130th Anniversary with thousands expected to take part in traditional Thai dance at the statue circle on 18 Jan. There will be an anniversary celebration at the city museum with fireworks at Nongprajak.
Also, the city is starting its Chinese New Year celebrations beginning tomorrow at the Chinese Pillar side of Tungsrimeuang. All activities scheduled for between 5PM and 8PM.
I'd expect many streets around the traffic circle to be closed to traffic....and I'd expect lots of traffic near the city pillar/museum/Nongprajak
