MJ Majestic Hotel (prices within your mentioned budget)

PC Hotel (prices from 350 - 450 per night)

Another alternative could be the Dusit Hotel.....rooms 650 baht,including a small breakfast.

Thanks for the suggestions.

The wife wanted to stay at Chokdee Place at 690 a night. When we turned up and they saw I was a westener they wanted another 100 baht. The amazing thing is there was only one other car in the car park.

We settled on the Dusit which is ok
