Now showing "Down for System Maintenance".
It seems to be up now, though I’m too early to be able to test it yet.

In registering, I imagine most will choose to reset the password supplied to something more reasonable!

Humm. I didn’t see a password field in the first page I posted, though of course it’s very possibly in a later one I also have not seen a suggested password in any of these kinds of registration documents.

This 'complicated' password was included in the 'confirmation of account created' email sent to me'. It was when i tried to replicate it with all the various characters used, it was rejected(although sure I typed it correctly!) and I followed the process to create my own password.

That makes sense now, but couldn’t you use copy and paste?

That’s how I enter almost all my many passwords as none of them are memorable, most are similar to this
“ F39x!_fdB-HVczWARPjcgH” so there is no way any of these are easy to enter.

I live a hundred kilometers from my immigration office. I have tried many times to use the 90 day Internet reporting. Not once did it ever work for me. The most logical way would be to report to your local police station. The police would easily know where you live and be able to check if necessary. However, that would be logical.

This appears to be a new system - probably worth giving it a try before setting off for your next report.

Yes, suppose I could have, but as I said, very sure I entered correctly. The Immigration password was similar to that you've indicated here, using many of the upper row keyboard characters. As it is, my own password is one I can immediately recall and relates very much to my view of the Immigration Service!

Just for info, a few online applications that I have come across that don't allow copy/paste.

Microsoft account recovery, Skype and Bangkok Bank's Bua Luang.
