Marriage visa

Does anyone know about the marriage visa at savanakhet and if it’s still the same score where you dont need the cash in the bank but have to do the border runs every 90 days.thanks.

There is no change from the situation pre-pandemic, though of course virtually all prices have risen.

Yes done the visa run,very easy 5,000b multi entry,40 dollar to enter Laos,would recommend taking a umbrella for the queues outside consulate.I stayed at savan casino hotel for 600b and beer Lao in restaurant was 30b for large bottle.

Last month, Tuesday submission, queue of 10. Wednesday collection, queue of 10. Avoid Mondays and Thursdays as those are the "minivan" days (where you'll need a brolly).

I found out the hard way tam,went Sunday night with no tuk tuks after immo into Lao.went early Monday morning but so did 300 other people,went back Tuesday only to have left my umbrella in hotel.then mental queues to get back to land of smiles.only good thing about the trip is 30b for big bottle of beer Lao in a restaurant.

Two police officers came around this afternoon to check on where I was living. The visit took 10-15 minutes. They spent most of that time asking the two witnesses questions. As they left, they reminded me to come to the office again on the 16th.
You only pass through this life once, you don't come back for an encore.
