Hi all
This is for khon kaen but the kk forum section is offline. The question would be the same for Udon or anywhere else though.
To be able to play YouTube and tv in a public place like a cafe etc would I need a licence and if so where would I get it?
Thanks

I believe that the thing that you need to worry about is copywrite.
That is what the infamous raids on bars is often about - with a 20K baht fine.

I am not sure what/if any license you need from the local authority on top of this though...

A policeman told me once that you need a licence when you have a bar or live music. But as the above said ...this is Thailand. You never know.
