there is a rolling scroll at the bottom of the page, and it says users in Bangkok are viewing....but you need to sign up to find out, as they did do a free trial but stopped doing it due to timewasters... :badteeth:

ive signed up and it looks good... basically wherever you are in the world it is routed through an english server... Also the tv looks the business, however im having problems getting it to work, so ive emailed the tech dept, i will keep this topic informed.

the reason i want it is my misses plays bejewelled online here in uk and has made 150 quid in the last week, but u cant do it in thailand so this is the pefect solution!! once i get it working that is.

So, if you are not British is there any reason to spend one satang on this IMO POS?

No, good Buddy, but this thread adds to the knowledge base for British ex-pats in Udon and Thailand who might want to spend a bit of money to watch UK TV.

yes I think its worth your dollor...sure there will be something for you TJ, they are bound to be showing US favourites like Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewifes, The Swan and Lost, Jerry Springer and all the other same same shows with whingers on them...hell they may even show those tear jerking programs about obese house bound people that need surgery...or face dying in bed ,What about Dog the Bounter hunter and the Cop chase Shows With The Good Sherriff doing the voice overs if thats your thing, but be warned Brit shows do contain some nudity...Teenage Bodies and Embarrassing Illnesses, and how to do sex shows amongst others... , so be careful where you view it if you do join TJ....if you avoid selecting Channel 4 and 5 you should be fairly ok, you may not get a grasp of the comedy programs but give them a try see what you think, then you got The Bill (jack will vouch for that one) Deadenders with the good ole cockerney boys, Corrie with Norris and Roys rolls Cafe with the fab Roy and his Transsexual Wife Hayley, Coast and Countless good Food shows too much funny stuff too.

Thanks all.

BM,I Think you may have a PLOBLEM trying to convince TJ into watching BLITISH T.V,Firstly he probably won't be able to understand some of the dialects "Hey Up Lad here comes our Zak down Th Road " in Emmerdale, and as for Corrie,The Manc accent is quite difficult, and IF Ever he watched A Scouse soap or film,Forget it !!!  Also Comedy Shows "Without the canned laughter " No Way,as MOST Americans shall we say have a very different sense of humour

Besides any questions of aesthetics, given that most the free-to-air channels in the UK are publicly owned ie socialist, they may not be to TJ's pure capitalist tastes  :D

Well ive sussed it now!! basically if you try in thailand or really anywhere outside the UK to watch any uk tv channel online it wont let you. This little service tricks it into believing you are in uk and lets you watch current programmes streaming online without the need to have to download through mininova etc... There are loads of tv channels to watch including lots of sky tv etc.. Also the misses can carry on her little games sideline!!

Chaps, I'm not sure if the Americans would like our television programmes, after all we've not even cut over to colour images yet. Here's the latest episode of Coronation Street for those Blitish ex-pats that are missing home (it rained today, again).

I looked at these programs and decided that most of the UK TV I'd watch was in the evening GMT and therefore dirt early hours here so I stayed with UK Nova, The Box etc and download them the following day.
You can even get Corrie if you really want it...........
