you should name the brand of video camera, usually in the cameras menu it will have memory properties info
sony has that
you'll usually finish up your battery first.

dashcams record in pieces (size to be defined in setup).
that means, if the card is full the camera will automatically start to overwrite the stored movie-pieces from the first to the last piece.
that means, the card will never become "full" and will therefore never stop recording.

btw: low resolution movies will need lesser memory space so you'll be able to record longer trips without overwriting.

If you don't need zoom, the XiaoMi Yi is an excellent camera. Cheapest on Banggood, waterproof case sold seperate. Cam 66 USD / Case 12 USD, free shipping, but will take shy of 30 days. NO Import duty, unless expedited.

Have 2, and use on quads / hexacopters. Takes direct sunlight very nicely.

Whatever you get, make sure it has a 'replaceable' phone type battery.

the XiaoMi Yi should be the same as the sj4000 just a different case, the 720p model is very cheap and comes with a housing.
I tried the 1080 version with the death lens version and I still didn't like it

it cant beat the SX85 (the same size as a M150 bottle) I bought mine used for $30 on ebay used, Im not worried if I beat it up, I just dont want to use my high end video camera for motorbike videos

last year I filmed with a sony bloggie, excellent motorcycle vids, I also used it as a dash cam

With my Go Pro the 32 card will last longer then my battery. I change the card on the second battery change. I've only filled the card once when I forgot to erase what was on it already. They have 64 Bit cards available as well.
I reserve the right to be wrong, mispell words type badly. leave words out of sentences because my mind works faster then my fingers. To be an OLD GIT I've earned it

kingston is quality, it will last long

class 4 is for video cameras, its the speed of transfer rating

The higher the Class the faster it writes to the card. I would look for a Class 10 to get best speed writing and yes if you are looking at a 32gb for 299 baht verify the class to make sure it is at least a class 4. I'm attaching image that shows how to tell class. Make sure there is NOT a class indicator of U as that may not work.
