iOS 11.2

For those who have been hearing the problems associated with downloading the Apple iphone or Ipad 11.0.1 and waiting for news.
Our company which has a world construction presence and a huge IT section has advised that Apple have now released the 11.0.2 which has fixed problems. We were advised company wide some time ago to wait and not install 11.0.1.

Permission has been now given for us to download 11.0.2

One thing to note, some of your apps may not work with iOS 11 due to their incompatibility, the app software needs to be updated to run on iOS 11, just in case you have problems with any of your eapps.

That may well have been on iOS 11.0.1
Read the full information in your software update section on your device. This new 11.0.2 version was to fix problems.

There's certainly some app incompatibility issues with IOS11 but as far as I can tell, no more than when IOS10, 9 et all were released.
I lost 4 apps this time & the app store clearly says the developer hasn't performed any updates since 2015 so it was only a matter of time before they were going to give up the ghost

Just down loaded the 11.2.2 and no problems.
I wait until my company advises all is clear on any iPhone system downloads before I do it. Was caught out a few years back and lost photos etc.

Have you checked the device storage in the Setting App. My iPad said it couldn’t upload a picture & when I looked it was showing 11.5gb of ‘System” storage on a 16gb iPad. That coupled with about 4gb of what I thought the genuine storage should be meant it was completely full. I’ve tried all the usually soft reset, hard reset, deleting certain apps & a call to Apple & its still not sorted.
The funny thing is after a hard reset the “System” storage goes back to a reasonable 2gb but then you can see it creep up without doing anything at about 1gb every half hour until it’s full again

Only just downloaded this morning after waiting sometime for company clearance from our IT centre.
Currently 128g capacitiy with 114g free. As you can see I don't store much.
Appears ok.
Will check our IT guys when back to work on sunday after the weekend.

Yeah, I store next to zero on my devices too. Its all either on Dropbox or iCloud. I spotted the problem when I took a picture & it wouldn't load into the cloud as "Storage" was full which surprised me. After all the faffing about resetting, I now seem to have 1gb spare so pictures can upload but the "System" storage is still showing an unnecessary 10gb
